    Carpangleroo2 that used to be the spot I'd go to on a regular basis before gas prices sky rocketed. I've always had good luck spraying my method balls with whatever flavor I was using as hookbait. That way you can keep it versitile and not stuck with a big bowl of a single flavor mix. I usually used two method feeders and a bolt rig with boilies/pva. I've learned not to neglect the wall your fishing off of either. I'd always fish one of the wall straight down, one in the middle and one opposite wall if you have the weights to do so. I've caught to 32lbs there and my biggest mirror being a high teen. All of the big fish have been close to the walls never in the middle! Try keeping it fruity in spring/summer and more natural/nutty or fishy in the fall/winter! Don't be afraid to try new flavors and mix/match either. I tried to some off the wall stuff there and it worked. I guess thats part of the fun, you just never know!     Good job on the catch and your decision to release the fish. It's only money, and not worth it the destroy a brute like that!!! You would've regretted every second if you chose the other route! The "Carp Gods" hopefully saw your endevour and will be rewarding you soon!
