I can't see that or anglers with no affiliation with groups that promote catch n release of trophy fish. This was one of many commercial operations that go on. Mickey from Midwest would probably know but I read that carp and cat are the two dominate fish that reside in the big miss! Has to be 60+ carp in there????

A picture sure would've been great. I'm suprised we don't hear of more monster fish comming out of that enormous river. A farmer friend of mine I work with had a recent shipment of fish in a tractor trailor from the Mississippi river delivered to his house for grinding in fertelizer and sadly said some of the fish were still flopping and were huge. He knows I'm an avid carp angler (he's a huge fisherman too) and when they arrived he called me to get down there with a tank asap. Some of the carp he weighed were over 50lbs and flatheads to 65lbs. Unfortunately I was fishing a hour or so away and had prior engagements afterwards so didn't make it. Next round of fish coming I'll b ready with a tank and hopefully will be able to save n realease some back in "hidden waters". I apologize for highjacking thread but can almost vouch for the previous story!!!!!
