  2. hi

Circa 1871. On a tree-lined street on the fashionable Upper East Side, this classic Brownstone offers stylishly elegant accommodations. Old World charm is evident in the decorative ironwork covering the front door, ornate moldings around windows, high ceilings and floors, and ornate marble and wood fireplace mantelpieces. The Cottage was a turn-of-the-century carriage house. Beds of antique iron and brass, a sleigh bed with netting, a Tuscan cottage bed and a cherry sheaf of wheat bed grace the guest bedrooms decorated with lace curtains and country quilts. A pleasant cedar terrace has color.

  4. The photo with the fish that had the scale disease caught my eye. I have personally caught 2 fish in different waters that have exibited the same type of sickness. This seems to be a problem that exist in more locations than originally thought. Has anyone ever tried to determine what it is exactly? One of these fish weighed more than 25lb. and the other was about 15lb. when captured. We attempted to conatact game management with the last one, but were not successful. This may be a widespead sickness that can become a larger problem if not checked. Has anyone else made captures of fish with this type of ailement??

Hoppy,... I had a couple like that from the Hudson in the spring,...not a pretty sight

Recently while up at the st Lawerence (jr tournament) I was talking to Bob Giordano(sp) .. he described some carp that they had caught in the spring that were "bleeding from everywhere". They called the DEC and they ran tests on them.. it turned out to be the carp virus/herpes !.. it was recommended NOT to return fish in this condition back to the water ! ... tough call !
