    What a brace !! two fortys !!!... he caught the first one just before 10am and put it in a keep sack, he then caught and released another fish ... Within 10 mins he had the second 40 on and in the net not long after !!

    After a lot of encouragement from friends a reluctant Nigel will more than likley hold the Ct state record !

    Hey Guys, .. recently Nigel was fishing a spot on the Ct river for a few days. On the first day he caught six fish (mostly teens) on the second day he had about 20 fish with several of them over 20 lbs .. he also lost what felt like a "large" fish !On the third day he had a session of a life time with fish in the upper 20s, a couple of 30s and these two brutes below....

    well Of course its public . but i thought if we agreed on something in this club we should keep the word.... but w/e

    Hey Luke,... as Rob said that fish was from a previous fishin in 06 ! .. .. and you are right there was a request not to fish the lake coming up to the fishin,..

    I think that's a fair request as it is a small water !

    Hey Guys,.. I had this e-mailed to me from a friend in Canada !... check this baby out !!!

    This is a darn interesting picture and story even if you aren't into fishing,

    But please show it to anyone you know that likes to fish.

    FYI: This sturgeon is still alive, just worn out from the fight.

    As the sports fishermen they are, they turned him loose after the photo.

    This Sturgeon was caught on the 18 Mile Creek (north of the Burt Dam), Olcott, New York two weeks ago.

    It weighed out at over 1,000 lbs and measured out at 11'1".

    It was 56" around the girth and took over 6 and a half hours, and 4 dozen beers, for the 4 guys taking turns at the

    reeling it in.

    Any Sturgeon OVER about five feet has to be released unharmed and cannot be removed from the water.

    They are brood / breeding stock and probably older than most of us.

    Hey guys,.. I 've got pics of 30s that look as if they are bearly 20 :) .

    Now a days... when I get a decent fish I usually ask my fishing buddie to take some pics with the camera closer to the ground or at least level with the fish that is being held for the photo. This seems to show the fish better !.. Also most of us use digital cameras,.... just take a bunch of pics at different angles.. you're bound to get a few good ones !
