[how do I bait my hook/hair...]

When making dough bait you can always add flour to stiffin it up. Watch how much liquids you use to make it. Alot of the time, as the day gets warmer my dough gets softer- I will then work in a little flour.

Could someone tell me how PVA bags work. From what I am reading they seem to be a chum bag of sorts? How are they thrown out?

Two weeks ago I wen to single hooks, and I have not had an issue with the hook set. Before I would use a size 8 and 6 treble on the same line.

Now I use a size 4 and 6 single. On the 4 I put a medium size dough ball completly covering the hook. On the size 6 I leave the point exposed. I catch most fish on the 6, but my larger strong strikes get caught on the 4.
