this is the first of a monthly news letter i will be putting out for our NY members, it will soon be going out via E-mail.
hopefully will help with comunication and letting you all know whats going on over NY state.

Hi all,
So this year is set to be a big one for CAG, And to get things started off right for us in NY or any one that wants to join us
i thought it would be a good idea to set up the first of many New York Carp Conections,this will be an event in the form of a meet and greet,
along with but not limited to a few other activity's that would cover... gear&tackle swap/sales, Along with some hopefully nice door prizes,
It will be held in a pub/bar that has a very nice UK feel to it, And also has a lovely menu for this of us that want to have a meal can do so.
As of right now were looking to set this up for the end of march to mid April of this year and it will be located in central upstate New York.
The main reason for this is to get some feed back from our NY CAG'ers and what they would like to see happen with in NY from CAG, It will also give anglers an opportunity
to meet other like minded anglers/exchange contact info and open doors for more opportunity's with in NY, at this time we can also plan to set up a few events for the year, that would work best for every one.
Please note this is not set in stone and at this time just looking to get a show of hands the more the better,once we have a fair number up for it we then will confirm
dates and location. if any one has any thing to add or has questions on any of this feel free to ask.
hope to get this squared away with the month,

Due to the mark up in price for adding the names on to shirts, we will skip it for now. and just go with a basic layout. if the cost of the basic shirts dont run to much and every one is willing to add a few more bucks for names on their shirts than im sure we can add that in to the cost.
Please not that this is not a pre order, im am just doing this now to get a good idea of how many members / non-members would like a shirt.
