  1. Val,

    was it taged?

there is currently a sturgeon re-birth program on the hudson. introducing new and re-releaseing old back in to the wild.

    nice one.

i have only ever had one it was in the UK. about 30lb. they really go for it tho.

nice to hear of them being seen tho.

    cheers.

    Joel.

  2. I will pm u tonight.

    :)

Would like to fish the TOC in my homestate this fall. If I can find a partner and get registered I may spend a "little" more time on the banks of the Ct river than I have in past summers. Its still quite a few months away, but I'd like to get the ball rolling now. Plenty of room at my house for the night before the tourney and the night after if someone wants to hang around and fish an extra day.
  3. was nice to meet up with you guys on my way out of B-ville. nice job on the fish you had . it was a tough swim. and nothing made it much easier to bank the fish. in some cases it was just a situation of being a bit of a bully to the fish.

any one that can fish that swim for more than a day in my eyes is a top angler.

as mentioned above the pallets help......

this is during the event.... i made this dock so John and Angela could walk out on to play the fish in, while i waded in to net the fish.

Nice wright up Greg. and good to meet you all.

  4. ......or even the "Yes, Brid. It's true. We all really don't have anything better to do than dream up devious ways to screw you over!" sub-sub-Forum of the Twilight Zone sub-Forum? :)

p.s. I caught some nice carp over the weekend. :D

    Iain

    lol!!!

maybe Brid is knocking back one to many and its actually confusing him and its him that's cheating..... they say that those who are guilty tend to suggest others are and create problems! i mean why would you start this thread in the first place......

im sure there are many reasons.....

i just dont have the time. maybe Bride should have his own section of the forum where he can start topics with questions and answer them also.

    :P

    good luck all.

  5. this is going to be a serious hard core event!!!!!

im only about 2 hr's away from the senica river in B-ville

we have had hail, snow, sleet, rain, and winds that will make u wish you never stepped out side.!!!

only a few days to go!!!!

    see you all there.

    Cheers.

    Joel

  6. Tony Crawford will be fishing this event also. Tony is one of the best Carp anglers I have ever known or met. Both John and Colin have fished with him. To say the stakes have risen is an understatement. :) Tony is the owner of Midway II the very lake our CAG CCC will be hosted this year. :P

    Tom.

ps ya'll will be earning your money this year too. :D

    Tom.

    Thanks for the up date.

it is understandable to see how pay-Lake anglers and thos that understand pay lake fishing will give every one a good run in this event. i Know i will be busy for sure.

  7. Joel, all entries have to be received and paid for today according to the rules. I know Colin/Jason have paid so that is up to 26 Teams according to the leader board.

I'm sure many plans are heavily under way in order to claim bragging rights :)

    wow......

not many teams then..... this should be a good one.

no doubt it will come down to the last few minuets of the event.

    :D
