I don't get it. The golden shiners we have here are gold in colour with green backs and they are plankton feeders . You will never catch one on a spinner or any other hook bait except a real small fly.

I say not a tinfoil barb, the fins are wrong and I couldn't see any barbels when used some photoshop stuff on it.Also not a gizzard shad. By default I roach I guess.

This poor kid is messed up. He just didn't tell a couple of whoppers but has shown a consistant pattern of deceit and manipulation. I remember one post about some flies he had tied being thrown out and the rod he won being hidden on him. These stories culminated in car accident post. It is frustrating because there is nothing you can do about it. That's my feelings on this.

None unless you have a cross current or an obstacle ( like a weed bed or a sharp drop off ) to get over. If you are using a bite alarm you want a minimum of interference between your terminal tackle and the alarm.
