Glad you were able to get out and do some fishing with friends . It's a rough job siting there holding your dog and waiting for the fish to bite while
some of us are looking at the ice on are waters. But someone has to do it.
I see there are signs on the trees there what do they say ?

After it snowed from friday untill sunday afternoon I thought I go out and try a little carp fishing.
I went tuesday afternoon.
Took these pics on a camera phone. Hope you enjoy.
I was using can corn . but not even a bite. But that's ok these came a calling.
I got to learn how to down size these pics.
I am asking to keep my son in prayer. I got a call from him last night. I will see us before he leaves for Irac for the third time.
I will see him Jan.14 09 After that he will leave again.

Very nice paintings for someone that had arthritis I would of never guest it. Also nice pics of the past.
It's enjoyable to see old pics. of the past. Especially looking at the equipment that was being used.

Thanks for the article rerun. This summer I had a rerun. Two old army buddies showed up at my door after 37 yrs. There were 4 off us. There is only 3 of us left. We have been in touch all these years. But this is the 1st time I have seen them since we came home. Those two get together a few times a year.
Its' hard to believe we were 19 yrs. at one time.
The one in the center is from ILL. the one on the right is from Wis. and I am on the left.

My 2009 resolutions
Want to fish more.
Travel more to out states to fish. The problem with is when I get home I don't want to travel to far because I drive a semi for a living.
Become more active in the church I go to
Learn how to take good digital pics

These pics are the first snow on the river I live on.
Yes there are carp there but I just mostly feed them and watch them. This river is only 10 ft. from the back of my home.
When I want to fish I generally go up or down about a mile or two from my home.
I might be getting this right?

I am trying to lean how to down load for the first time. These are pics of me nightfishing in the spring.
These pics. were taken with a throw away camera and no dvd.
I just learn that I should put my pics. on a dvd from Rick.

Up here we have no see ums they are small flies that bite and hurt also itch. The pic. below the catfish pic. you and your friend got your hands out. You and him must of caught them no see um carp.
LOL. I caught some of them. When people ask me how I did fishing.Good to see you had a good time. Nice set up with the cart.

Great pics. I took some pics of the river i live on but I don't know how to down load them to this form.No it is not digital pics it come from a use once camera. After the holidays that's one of the thing I want to learn. That is down loading pics to a form and yes I will be buying a digital camera

I only been getting the carp magazine this year and captains corner is the 1st thing I read. You see I had a place like that once. I am 58 years old and 4 t 5 of use would meet there on saturdays to fish for trout or bullheads. The place has been destroy by progress. The water that was 5-6 ft. deep is now ankle deep because of all the building on the river. Also I am the only one left from the group they all past on. Please keep the artical coming.
