A great time!! What an event, 30+ people attending a doggie Birthday party!!
As I made the drive home I realized that Max and Ol' Captain have alot in common other than thier love of carp fishing .......... a lot of people think very highly of them both, a testament to each ones character and personality!!!
I was proud to be a part of a fantastic evening of fellowship and fun.
I vote that this becomes an annual event

He had to get a carry permit and a Class 3 dealers license for the Thompson after the infamous Monkey Incident. It left him deeply scarred you know.

Youngest boy saw this he wants coordinates or an address so he can plug it into the GPS
Honestly he has been on me about catching a Koi for a couple years now!!!

Those boys will never be the same. Well done!!
You are right about that Captain, the boys came down to the river both days we were there. We were lucky enough to get them fish both days. They were 2 of the most polite young men I have ever had they pleasure of being around. Everything was yes Sir, no Sir, thanked us multiple times for helping them catch fish. They were a true pleasure to be around and introduce to the wonderful world of Carp'n!! A wonderful trip with the bonus of lots of smiles from 2 fantastic young boys!!

Beautiful spot, may have to make a trip up there myself. Wish you guys would have had better luck, but I'm sure it was a fun day for all!!

Absolutely one of the best trips I have ever been on! It was a pleasure to meet Austin and Alex, two of the most polite and well mannered young boys I have ever met.
A special trip that I will always remember, it was "Carptimonous"
Just stay tuned!!

Your right they look rough, the lake gets alot of pressure and the lake has had multiple owners over the last few years. The new owners have added alot of new fish and I think will do their best to turn the lake around. I used to fish this lake alot 20 yrs ago. Paylake fish usually get treated pretty rough compared to the carp care practices of CAG members.
