  1. I will be hosting a seminar Monday 4/4 7pm at Ct outfitters in Wethersfield. This is the first in a series and geared towards carp fishing for beginners. I have put together a VERY informational presentation so if you've ever wondered what carp fishing is all about, call and reserve a seat!

  2. Results from sundays fish in

Well it was a great day to say the least. Sunday morning saw freezing cold temperatures, with the water at 38 degrees on the bottom, and an air temp of high 20s when I left the house. The 20mph winds and chilly temperatures didn't keep a handful of diehard CAG members from fishing though. We had visitors from mass and NY and guess who caught all the fish? Fran commanded the morning shift with 5 fish before noon, then invited greg to fish by him and greg cleaned up where fran had left off. A total of 8 fish throughout the day on both maize and boilies, one of our most successful spring kick offs in the past couple years. Lots of laughs, and despite the chilly temps it was great to get out and shake the dust off.

  3. Ct will be holding its first official fish in of the season on 3/27 in Manchester Ct. Parking is available on North School st and we will be localized in the park across the street from the lot. This is always a great place to shake the dust off from the long winter and we should have a good turnout. Please message me if you have any questions.

  4. Its not that often that carpers actually confess their bank thoughts. Its actually VERY interesting to read through someone elses session thoughts. I'm sure we have all gone through the same thing, but its refreshing and information can def be gained by reading through the two threads. I have come to the same conclusion, allthough a little different. I believe there are in fact bodies of water that are condusive to targetting big fish, while others not so much.

Thanks again for your bank side thoughts!

  5. I learned 2 VERY important things, one I already knew.

I like carp fishing WAYYYYYYYY too much.

the most important thing I learned was about fishing baits DIRECTLY where your freebies are/were. I had numerous sessions this year that were slowwww until I casted a hail mary well past the baited areas and connected with fish almost every time. These fish were 20-30 yards past my baited area.

  6. absolutely AWESOME report, I can only imagine waking up near big bird.........oh wait I did, because the nightmares forced me to. Looks like the CCC was EXACTLY what it was supposed to be, A DAMN GOOD TIME.
