"My Life" is a female. "Loves" is in present tense.
"Her Life" from the 2nd line is a male speaking in 3rd person, and unfortunately "Loved" is in the past tense.
She may have left him (On July-8th perphaps?) ...and if she "loves this view", she'll be back (July 4th 2013 for fireworks?) and see this momento left by her former lover, and she'll realize the mistake that she's made... and as MiB suggested, hindsight is 20:20...
...and a realization that's been made too late because Big Boy has moved on! ("loved" is in past tense)
