    Hey Bob, just a thought. At the East Harbor event, I was planning on hitting downtown Sandusky on the Sunday. It seems most people leave early Sunday without fishing. How about having Friday and Saturday at East Harbor and have the event finish off at a Shoreline park on the Sunday at say noon or 2pm. I would be happy to host the Sunday portion and report catches for those interested in extending the weekend a little. I had a fair bit of success there in the fall last year and would bet there could be some good fishing there in the spring.

    I'd be able to and like the idea. Most leave out early sunday after getting some sleep so they can get home, unpack, and get rested for Monday work. I'd probably stay an extra night at East Harbor and do this, unless there's a closer campground to the spots you're thinking.

    I might be interested in hosting a final one day event around the end of October early November at preferably o'shaughnesey with Griggs as back up. They usually drop the levels at O'Shay around that time opening up plenty of backspace, could throw up some surprises. Last years event at Alum didn't have a huge turn out so I would be interested to hear if others would be interested in this event?

    Count me in. Just let me know the date and I'll post it up. Might want to post this idea up on FB too.

    New Ohio State Chair starting 2016?

    At the end of this year I'll have basically been the State Chair for another 3 years, and this is my second time being the State Chair. Not wanting to stand in the way of fresh leadership and ideas I'd be very open to any others looking to take over starting the 2016 season. Keep warm everyone.

    For anyone in the midwest area looking for a spot to fish, some Ohio members will be gathering at the Great Miami River in Hamilton Ohio. Event will once again be hosted by Rick Cox and his wife will be providing a traditional meal of Sauerkraut and Pork. Some nice things about this venue: Rick will be prebaiting, it has traditionally fished ok, can park your vehicle right at your rods.
