Yes, I don't know if everyone knows about the four foot railing. Many anglers may not have the proper equipment to fish this sort of obstacle. So, for those who are coming make sure your set up can handle this type of bank.
Another tips is to only fish one rod

Can you ship a few of theses mirrors over here to DC? We need a few of those in the Potomac. Thanks.

I would have stuck that maize and beetle on my hook.

Yeah...I'm still waiting for my invite...

I have a pet carp, I call him Golden Balls...oh, wait a minute...
-
You ######!!! Pat and I have been trying for those a bit this summer...down Mt. Vernon way.

he ate it B)
Probably did. A lot of folks still fish to put dinner on the plate so I'm okay with that, especially if you do it often as part of your lifestyle. Though, I've had carp when I was a kid and didn't care for it...there's too many freak'in bones!!! I'd rather hit the market

Story's not on The Carp Times yet, but wanted to post this.
A guy in Arkansas landed a 52lb grass carp out of a pond...using sweet corn! That is one HUGE grass carp!!!

Sadly, the grassie didn't make it back into the water

I'm calling Jerome's bluff, that's a bonefish and that's a sand bottom!

The dark green coloring on the upper half is flawless. Can you imagine her in water? It'd be impossible to see but a silhouette at the right light/angle. I need to got the UK.

Not many fish photos open my eyes in absolute amazement. This one however dropped my jaw and is now on the front page of The Carp Times.
If that carp doesn't rank up as one of the most perfect carp around, I don't know what does!

Well, turns out that my "hooked & Hooked" video keeps getting new viewers. And I am rather proud to say that it passed the symbolic cap of 50,000 viewers. Now that's cool! I'm still waiting for this call from Hollywood producers though...

A few I've never seen before! Congrats!

Nice stream. I used to fish those types of areas in Rochester, NY when I was up there.

Looks good. Do you have any plans on adding how to articles or angling blogs? I think that is something that is missing, for the most part, in the US carp scene that really could use a tagged format for organization that forums fail to offer.
Funny you say that...there's two guys working on a How To section as I type this This idea came about because the old site, NCA, got dozens of emails from random people asking about basic carp fishing. Though we directed them here, they still asked questions. The How To section should be up by this evening and will include videos, etc that will help the carp beginner get on their feet

For those who aren't aware yet, the National Carp Association is now The Carp Times. After three months of BETA, collecting data, gathering user info, and analyzing statistics, the focus and design of the site has changed.
We now have a good working system, both technically and personnel wise, running the ship!
If you have the old site bookmarked please visit the new site and change it. The old site is now on redirect to the new site regardless.
Thanks!
Hank
PS: Have a good 4th and don't burn any carp with fireworks!

Hope you didn't feel it.

ME?? Sit on Scott T's lap??

Nice work! Great to see folks gathering up for fish-ins/tournaments.

NCA has been updated, more in the pipeline!
Enjoy!

all exposure is good exposure and this exposure is GREAT !!!
I agree with you! Sadly, last Friday night the police didn't agree with my exposure practices...
