Im confused as to how there is a group compromise of accounts featuring different vendors and different ways of paying (cc and paypal) in different states and overseas all ordered from different web sites from different computers in different states by different people .

No alex unfortunately we will have to cancel the fish in as hains point is under water and closed until further notice.
The potomac is chocolate soup and the water quality is questionable as the sewage plant has released millions of gallons of raw sewage as well as upstream releases of millions of gallons of raw sewage. I spoke with park police this morning and they couldnt tell me when the park will be reopened. So i am cancelling the event for this weekend and hope to perhaps reschedule for another weekend b4 it gets too cold.

Haines point 6 am till whenever park closes at 1 am . Lunch will be served grill will be available bring your own beverages get your licences on line at dc goverment web site ALERT There is a possibility that we will have to cancel the fish in due to weather /flooding conditions based on the weather forcast . If we get the weather they are predicting the potomac river and probably most local waters will be a total mess and hains point which floods in much smaller storms will possibly be under water and closed completely . I will post up here as soon as i can get a handle on the storm damage next week

I started " fishing " for carp in 1973 in lake michigan 15 miles or so north of chicago. in the summers I used to snag carp and sell them to the fish monger who made gefilte fish out of them. I got 5 bucks a fish back then which for a 13 year old was good money and was much better than mowing lawns and delivering newspapers. that lasted a few years and i had a break from carp fishing for 30 plus years till i resumed this time actually " fishing" for them in the tidal basin and discovering CAG.

my space is not for sale but contributions are accepted That yellow area known to the govt as area #11 has a hallowed history and will be what is now known as CAGFI HQ. Now if craig had given us the expanded view of HP you would be able to see area @ 14 or so and a round building known from here forward as the craigsloo swim . craig is accepting sponsors for his Loo swim as this is where he spends most of his quality fish in time or at least 30 steps away .

Both days Saturday & Sunday at Hains Point ?
Im thinking Yes last time folks wanted to take advantage of their baiting up on saturday rather than doing it fresh on sunday at the Basin we mau make a game day decision based on what folks say on saturday .

Its time again for the DC spring fish in Mark your calenders Saturday and Sunday May 12th and 13th . Sun up till midnight
Join us for a couple days of fishing in the Nations Capital.. The DC fish in, where friends are made and PB'S broken.
The fish in will be held at Hains point . Bring Your friends bring your family . No CAG membership needed for this event . There will be BBQ dinner served on saturday courtesy one of our local Members .
