A fine example to us all.....

I must be getting old.. can't quite get the urge when it's in the 20's and the wind is howling... did go for a brisk walk to see if there were any nutters at the plant but the wind had done a real number, real low tide , two frozen unknown soles were blanking in fine fashion...

The trouble with camera's this time of the year is that if you let them get cold the batteries start to suffer and if you keep them warm the lens mists up in the cold air... anyone got any cures??

Good news it being in a reservoir.. maybe it has a few friends.... and you will sure recognize it should it grow a few more lbs.... come spring that will make 20.. keep feeding them..

Had a "pet" pelican ruin my catch and release efforts while in the keys on holiday.... but didn't have the camera... just sat beside my rod and waited for the next meal..... poor thing could hardly take off by the time he'd had enough.... thankfully it was small bait fish rather than bones or tarpon he was getting...
