  1. Can we pull up the logo on our phones for the picture? I don't have a printer and have to print it out at work so if it's not up by 8 I can't print it until tomorrow night. I'm also asking in case a strong wind comes and the logo ends up in the river.

  2. That's going to be a lot of work now that there are prizes for most fish and total weight. Are you going to post all the pics everyone sends you, or just the big ones? I can probably get around 500.

  3. I haven't been fishing for carp that much this year, mostly because I'm into ice fishing for pike and muskie and there was safe ice in CT into April. With the spring bite turning on now that we finally have some warm weather and the Big 4 tourney coming up I decided to dust off the gear and start carping. I baited up yesterday and did a little fishing, nothing big but I caught a few. Today I fished for 6 hours in the afternoon and landed 15 carp, 2 cats. I just started getting into puff fishing last year and haven't tried it much on my home water. One of my goals for this year was to get my first puff 30, now I can scratch that one off the list. I landed my 3rd biggest carp ever at 38lbs 14oz...ON THE PUFF! I caught 4 others on the puff and the rest were on oat balls, both fished with an oat pack. Hopefully the big one today will eat a pound and a half of my bait and I'll catch her again next week :D

  4. I don't think a scale shot is necessary. The fish would have to be out of the water longer for the shot, it would be a pain to get the shot if you are by yourself without a tripod, and it doesn't prove anything...you could go home and put some dumbbells in your weigh sling and take the shot in your backyard and it would look just like the pic you posted.

  5. Btw, if you use liquified bread put it in ziplock bags after you make it. Get all the air out of the bags and stick it in the fridge so it stays fresh until you are ready to go. I think this is better than whole pieces of bread because you can evenly flavor it, it breaks up into a pile and spreads out more, and it's tougher for the carp to clean up because the particles are so small a lot of it goes right out their gills.
