LOL well i can see that taken a few different ways, either.....
A- you have great followers via facebook, twitter, CAG. or some other means....
B- They dont really care about you and wonder how your dog is..... LOL
i for one am going with A

i believe and this is just my .02 but, i think our cag site should be 85% member only and the other 15% i would make 10% of that read only. giving the guests 5% to work with. i think that is way more than fair.

You speak like someone who has been here a lot longer than your join date....
You also speak like you have done something for this group. For someone who volunteers no time, maybe you should just fade away yourself.
mcwrestler i suggest you look up scott holler (may have spelled last name wrong) then you might see why he seems so educated on his typed assumptions and why he is so biased. had you been kicked off the forums you too would be vengeful.

There is one trick to viewing a few threads in the Members only section. I'll have to give Mr. Bigs recipes a try, since he only swears by them. It seems like the Bait section has more recipes than the Top Secret bait section.
Why hold a secret from just a few people, seriously, why even post a report if you only want a few eyes to see it, $25 doesn't make you more trustworthy, so any one of those people can share the members only info with anyone else on the outside world, I know I would.
And post one of my rigs on a UK Forum and see what kind of response I get, I think outside of the box, I don't stick to one rig the rest of my life, nowadays, I am running 50lb tuffline leader with a longshank (not a nailer), I use lead clips nowadays as well, so what would the Euro guys have to say about me? What do you think they would have to say about you and your ways?
I have learned a few things on this site, but I learn the more complex stuff on Google and Yahoo, search engines don't need a membership and $25, and you get all the info you want and then some.
People who are thinking about getting a membership, don't, it's overrated, the people who post in the members only section are not Scientists, they are regular people who are still learning as they go, your not going to learn some new breakthrough in the Carp world by just paying a fee, if there is a breakthrough, CAG will probably be the only place keeping it a secret so they can convince a few more guests.
you all have your opinion but simply put, be glad you get anything for free. quit the damn belly aching cuz you cant see everything. if you dont like the mag, dont like the forum, find somewhere else to troll. If you feel your better than all and cannot learn anything here, then go start your own FREE forums.
i guess you were not taught as a child be thankful for what you receive. especially when its free.

i think it should and does resemble a lost humpback whale trying to gather all the bait fish to eat all alone.

i think it is a wonderful idea, one that i would for sure get in!
i would say maybe even adding additional prizes or something for those that do not sport a stache all the time say entering a photo from october where you do not have a stache.

To be honest it just looks like a shad to me

zoomie you are something else, i love this idea, i for one kinda did something much worse than this yesterday with my kids, i had prepared to take them fishing yesterday for many days because they are on spring break. so i get off work, go get my fishing truck which has everything needed for carping(so i thought). i drive only 20 or so miles to where i was going to take them fishing, unpack the truck, get the pods together, fix them a fast snack, so i start baiting up the swim and go to get my tackle box for my bait needles and realize OH SH**. i left my tackle box in the other vehicle that i used the day before to fish for bluegill with my boys, fishing with a hair is hard to do with no needles....damn, pack everything back up boys time to go home.....
LOL

captain, everyone should take notice of your efforts, you are one man who in my opinion is like no other. You should be awarded some sort of CAG medal of honor for your efforts. If everyone cared even half of what you do about their swims, our water ways would be much much cleaner.

thanks zoomie, i sent a few texts out but they are all probably pretty busy hauling.

atleast someone is posting....LOL

OK i hope this isnt a repeat of another post, but i hear people talk all the time about why they did or didn't catch in relation to the barometric pressure that day, what are all your thoughts as to when they are biting vs. when they are not.
as in if it rising they do or dont or its low, idk i have never been a scientific fisherman, just curious as to all your thoughts. Since i cant be at the ATC ill see what i can get started here in normal land

i will host a fish in at loramie. whenever doesnt matter. and i think cowan is a MUST again this year. but i do like louis's idea of changing it up a bit with keeping only a few of the norms.
