  1. Brid, as much as i hate to say this, u clearly are not thinking this through. Key word here, watercraft, find out where the fish are and fish THERE. Its ok to get schooled in your own backyard, just learn from it.

Ken - If I was a Professor of English, I'd say you'd got a few too many Hyperbole's in your response ( Hyperbole (pron.: /hˈpɜrbəl/ hy-PUR-bə-lee;[1]Greek: ὑπερβολή hyperbolē, "exaggeration") is the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally).

Water off a ducks back to me, as -- both you and Stewart seem to be disregarding the fact I live on the lake, and have many 100's of hours blanking here, regardless of baiting tactics. The only reason the ATC puts fish out is because the whole lake is covered - for two days, and many capitalize on those that baited their swim the day before. I bet you the Austin Town Hall Clock -- the chances of you catching here "COLD" - IE, doing it in a day, are as good as a cold day in hell, especially anytime but right before the spawn (like now)

It's a HARD lake - and getting worse.

If you want to keep chiding me Ken -- get your butt out here, and let's sort our differences out with fishing LBL -- I really look forward to that!!

  2. Thanks for the replies the pod I have now is four legs but where the rods rest ain't very stable and if I pick one rod up sometimes the others will go off so I'm needing one that has two bars leading to the buzz bars I'm guessing right?

Yes. Single risers are not great.

  3. I personally have had 4 and 3 legged pods, i prefer 4 if using a pod because i lost a pod in the water that was 3 legged. I know others have had no problems. And when mine went in water it was human error so not to blame the pod. I just try to make my life as easy as possible. I now only use banksticks

  4. Lol, I hear you. This will mainly be the family car. Normally for fishing I take my old Silverado. But when these giants come down it's nice to have some extra space and 4x4. With all that extra waffle weight it could be a rough ride in the mountains.

    Lol
