It's great to see that "keeping it simple" is still in vogue. That is one of the things I love about Carping!
Thanks!

I've always heard that
"The two best times to fish are when it's raining and when it ain't"

I fished the Chattahoochee this AM and caught one Carp (8 Lbs, 1oz- see pic). I fish near a boat ramp. Early on a guy put a boat in to fish down the river. When he returned he said the water temp was 8-10 degrees cooler today than last Saturday.(We had a big rain last night) He said he did much better last week. I'm assuming the sudden drop in temp could be the reason for my drop in runs or (pull downs as we call them) today. Comments?

We all know people who have dogs that bear a striking resemblance to their owner. That’s all well and good but I have a friend who looks like his PB Carp! Here is Chris Settle with his 7 lb, 3 oz PB Common! It was caught yesterday afternoon on the Chattahoochee River on canned corn. Just try to match this hatch!!

DRCFA history was made this morning when seven year old Noah Adams ( our youngest member) caught his first and obviously his PB Common Carp. It weighed 3 lbs, 14 ounces. I am attaching a picture of Noah and his catch of the day. You can congratulate Noah by e-mailing him at:
