If I may add one thing. More than half the streets in downtown Joliet are one-way streets. Be careful, we have seen accidents happen while we were fishing before.

I seen a few carp rods at a pawn shop about 15 miles from you. Two women were pawning them.

Hello everyone, this Larry.
I going to try to raise some cash for CAG. I have a Snapple bottle filled with change. Each paid angler for the CCC will get one free guess as to how much money is in the bottle. Each additional guess will cost you $1, buy as many as you would like. The angler with the guess closest to the amount in the bottle without going over wins the $$. ALL money collected from this will be donated to Cag. The change in the bottle is donated by me. HINT: change in the bottle greater than $50 and less than $100. Feeling lucky?

Just a little look as the what you will be fishing in for the CCC. Average 202 ft wide and 24 ft deep.

Friday September 27th Pre-Fish Event:
We will have a pre fish in downtown Chicago at Montrose Harbor on Friday the 27th
There isn’t any start or stop time for fishing. There is free parking available but you must be there really early in the morning if you want free parking.
Friday Evening: Meet & Greet Social & Scale Certification
From 6pm at the Clarion hotel on 411 S. Larkin Ave. Joliet IL 60436. The hotel has a restaurant and bar inside that is open from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. We will get together for dinner at 6 p.m. in the restaurant. Please note that each angler / guest will be responsible for their own dinner and drinks on the Friday evening.Bring your Scales for Certification! We will also have a table set up for anyone who has tackle they may want to sell or trade prior to Saturday's event.
Saturday September 28th : CCC Tournament & Banquet
7:00 am CCC Peg Draw in the parking lot of Veterans Park (middle of Section A) off N. Bluff St. Look for the 10x10 pop-up canopy.
8:00 am – 4pm CCC Tournament
6:30pm CCC Awards, Banquet Dinner and CAG Annual Meeting
The banquet after the CCC will be at the Rockdale Athletic Club at 704 Moen Avenue, Rockdale Illinois 60436.
Your banquet dinner is included as part of your CCC entry, however drinks will be the responsibility of each angler... alcohol and pop available.
Sunday September 29th : Mid-State Carpers of Illinois Tournament
The Mid-State Carpers of Illinois will be hosting a money tournament at the same venue as the CCC. More details to follow.
Hotels & Accommodation
The main hotel that will be used will be the Clarion Hotel at 411 South Larkin Avenue Joliet Illinois 60436. The Clarion is 9 minutes from the river and 5 minutes from the Rockdale (where the CCC banquet will be held).
Clarion hotel at 4:11 South Larkin is $112 per night
Harris Joliet.. 151 North Joliet street Joliet Illinois is $245 per night
Quality Inn and suite South at 135 South Larkin Avenue Joliet is 95 to a $108 per night
Towne place suites by Marriott at 1515 riverboat drive center in Joliet is $141 a night
Red Roof Inn Joliet 1750 macdonogh street Joliet Illinois $85 night
Hampton Inn Joliet I-80 1521 riverboat center drive Joliet $165 per night
Motel 6. I-80... 1850 McDonough Street Joliet is $63 per night
All of the hotels listed are 13 minutes or less to the river where we will be fishing.Harrah's casino which is the most expensive is on the river at a cost of $245 per night if anyone wants to be that close
For anyone wanting other options to get a bite to eat there are numerous restaurants within 15 minutes of the hotels that offer a wide variety of food and drinksAnyone with questions about local area, restaurants, lodging, events ect, let me know. I will answer your questions somewhat promptly.
One thing to keep in mind Joilet is filled with one-way streets, so be careful and pay attention.

We are less than 60 days from the 2019 CCC in Joliet Illinois. The date is September 28th on the DesPlaines river in downtown Joliet. We have multiple bait and tackle companies as well as carp fishing clubs that have stepped up to donate prizes for this event. We are always looking to add donors to our list as well. I have ordered not only the trophies but, the illustrious Carp King buckle will be on hand and ready for the angler with the biggest carp of the event. There will also be custom one off " carp art" pieces for each section winner as well as a one of a kind Gyotaku art piece by artist Jeff Conroy. Contact Doug on his email (dougdev54@gmail.com) or phone (920-901-5542), to get your copy of the Rules, Entry Form, and register for the Tournament. Or look us up on Facebook 2019 Wi carp Championship. Disregard Rule 14 and replace it with "Bait responsibly". Going back to the way this event was a few years ago.

Thank to all who attended, I believe everyone had a good time. The bite could have been better but..................
Excuse my computer skills, but Dustys total was 69 lbs total, And andys total was 68-6.

The light rain continued most of the morning but didn't stop Dusty for taking the win for the 2nd year in a row, beating Chicago know Angler great Andy Burnagiel by only 10 ounces. 3rd place taken by Frank Rink with a 50-10 lbs total. Jeff Conroy earns big fish honors for his tough fighting 22-9 fish, Great job Guys.
