    That lake is a mess, has been for years. I have no idea if killing as many carp as they can will help the lake but they have to do something. The lake has so much silt on the bottem and is way to shallow IMO. It will never be a great fishery IMO. Used to catch some nice crappie there years ago. I will not be there either but would guess the lake is way over populated with carp maybe getting rid of some of the fish will help with fish size as I havnt heard of any big fish coming out over the years.
