  1. i was shearing my opinion buddy ;) does it look like il bit on them if i dont like the items ?? Carpinken knows what im talking about .....

You should read about this area of the forum. People have been asked to donate(give away for FREE) to help CAG. My opinion is you shouldnt post your thoughts on an item that has been donated that you dont like. We know how you feel about fresh baits. ;)

  2. Nice red! if you're still in Florida, you should drive on over to Sebastian Inlet. We've had nights where we've caught 10+ reds all over 30 lbs

Frog shame I had to come home to 8 degrees the day after I caught that fish and it was 80 there! is that 30 LBS or Inches? I have no idea how big they get it was my first time fishing for them.

    Heck of a fight.

  3. BB will need to change his eating habits (lifestyle) to keep from having repeat attacks from this horrible problem. This is a dangerous issue and should not be taken lightly. One of my co-workers has had multiple attacks over the last 3 years and now has been forced to go on long term disability and take what his doctors say will be up to 1 yr to recover.

Boo-Boo you are in my thoughts get well soon and follow your Dr.'s instructions!

  4. Hey Brian, nice to hear from you. We fish East harbor at Lake Erie and this is usually done in the month of April. It's only fishable for a short period of time until the vegetation takes over. It will be on our schedule that will be made at our yearly gathering at BW3's here in Columbus. It will likely be in the 2nd or 3rd week of February on a Saturday evening.

Another place that might be of interest to you is the Maumee River. I have never fished there before, but CAG Ohio has held an event there. Here is a map of the area they fished. Click Here Also, here is a video of the inlet.

    good work...

    Welcome Brian!

  5. What can I say other than thank you to all of the Ga carpers and non carpers alike I met while in your great State! The people are some of the finest I have ever spent time with and Horace and company puts out the spread for sure.

If you ever get close dont miss the chance to take them up on their offer to "Come See us" cause you will be missing a chance to change the way you see the world IMO. My face hurts from laughing and as you can tell I didnt loose any weight while I was there!!!

    Good work...

    Uncle Rod!

  6. rodman i have been around you in many places around the country but YOU ARE IN MY NEST NOW!!!!! i have gotten a drive by on everyone that has fished wallace dam, except dale holmes. he is fast to be so old!! LOL your rods and plate will not be safe!!!! i did not get this big by accident!!

ill have my pocket knife to cut the line on my rod if you pick one up!! :)

If you mess with my plate watch for my cat like move towards my sock :P

You may be taller but not bigger around than me :D

  7. I have been lucky since 2004 to travel and meet some of the finest people in this world that I met on the Internet!!! CAG has brought me many pleasures. From Texas to Delaware I have laughed, ate and spent time on the bank with many of you. This coming week I get my chance to

    "Come See Us!"

The Captain and his crew on their home turf is what Im talking about. I know we will laugh and I know we will learn and I know we will eat but one thing Im planning to avoid is a Ga drive by!! So that will keep me on my toes.

I would say that this coming week is very special for me. First my son(Christopher) is completing Army basic training, now I have to admit I was ready back in October for him to go! I love him but its hard being 19! you know!!! He has changed in many ways in just a short time it seems based on our limited phone calls and handful of letters I have received. My son also become a father 3 weeks before he left for basic and that means Im a new "Pappy" I cant put into words what this new baby boy has brought to my life but I have spent time reflecting on my visit to Philly to see Gage and meet the Captains family.

I cant wait to meet the rest of his extended family at Wallace BBQ on Thursday night. Now I have met a few of you outside your home turf and Although I would never attempt a Ga. drive by on the bank Im not making any promises when it comes to BBQ on Thursday, so watch your plate fellows cause if I see a piece of bark on your plate Im liable to go for it!!!

I hope to share some pics from my adventure upon my return next weekend.

    thanks,

    rod
