Since Oct 5th (when I caught those 4 30s in one single day!), I have been traveling around and fishing nearly every day. I caught three other 30s from three different locations, but none helped to improve my Big-4. In the mean time, Kody and Sean Clayton crept up on me and went just a few pounds ahead of me, both of them!

I kept working on it, working on it. This week was absolutely abysmal, got 4 carp runs total, lost 2 on a snag, nothing big landed. I blanked 3 days in a row. I gave it one last chance this morning, I only had a window of a couple of hours to fish one last time with the talented Ryan Munn. Less than 30 minutes before we had to wrap up, I got a couple of beeps. I grumbled "f*** catfish". It turned out to be a tad bigger. 36 pounds and a half, now guess who is ahead of Sean and Kody? ?

Now Sean, if you read this, remember what you said (which I totally agreed with)? NEVER GIVE UP. The ball is in your camp, buddy. Please make my day, change the ranking once again...

You’re fishing hard sir!  If you’re going to do something do it right! Kody saw you pulled ahead and says to me “welp, time to cook corn”?.  Good looking fish!

Anyone know of any waters in PA that hold mirrors?  I live in North East PA near Wilkes Barre and mostly fish the Susquehanna river and a few lakes around here but never came across a mirror.  Would absolutely love to catch one of these beauties... Any information is highly valued!!  Thanks in advance!!!

There’re mirror in sw pa but that would be a haul for you.

So.....the start of my CAG Fall 2019 started with a blip....fished a local lake where I had caught fish up to 26lbs, but alas, lost one in a snag with the rig- carp 1, MO 0, then hooked a solid 8-10lbr and it ran along the shore into a snag and was gone, carp 2, MO 0, then hooked a little guy, brought to shore but off at the bank; carp 3, MO 0. Hooked a 4th and final smallie and was off halfway to the shore; carp 4, MO 0.....so............went back to the creeks and caught 6 fish, my first CAG fish at 8lb, 13-8, 8-6, and 12-0, and a little 5-6, but of all things, a bighead carp!-wouldn't have believed it, but hooked like a common- this is a small creek but it eventually runs to the Missouri. This was the only hit on a panko, dried bloodworm pack bait, and it beat the daylights out of me and escaped!..........so, my four didn't even cross 45lbs!!!.......oh well, just getting started.... :)    MO
