Can someone plz move this thread to the right place? I want to come up to the Baldwinsville area to fish and would like to camp on the river any pointers would be appreciated.

O.... Well shows you how much I know! Is the Seneca good as the Lawrence? So you can camp right on the water?

Thanks guys!! DC is in MD. It's a tough place to fish. It's like a major interstate with boats in the summer, snags, docks, and most of the lake is surrounded by private property. And the fish only bite at night.

My son Kody with his 34lber from Deep Creek. Hes almost 12yrs old. He setting the bar high at a young age. I never broke the 20lb mark till my late 20's

We fished for 5 days. Landed 3 30's lots of upper 20's and it was rare to land one under 20lbs.

Cool!! I appreciate it. I was looking at Saras in erie but read some bad reviews and looks like it would crowded waterfront. I called them but they wont return my calls.

Nothing is desroying yhe lake like them boats. Very sad!

Hey Mr. Clay. Did you happen to pay attention to anything that has to do with a CALENDER? Or should I say SOLAR LUNAR calender. You might just want to to plan your excursions in the future. Do you think its ironic or just by chance that 3 PB's were caught on that week. I dont. NEW MOON three days on either side in my book will produce thats for sure. Just a little tid bit for ya.

Im renting a cabin Jun. 2 thru the 9th. Its gonna be cold the fish will probally only bite at night but there are some real hogs. The cabin is were I caught my first 30lber and 100yards down from where we just caught 3 30's in one day. It would be $800.00 for the week for me and one other guy or $400.00 if we do three guys. Would anyone be interested? We would have to reserve it soon they go fast.

So I head down to Deep Creek by myself on Sun. I rent a boat and do a little prebaiting. Start fishing Mon. morning and didnt start catching fish till almost dark. On Tue. I was getting lonely and decided to try and talk Al into coming down. At first he was reluctant, then he heard my bite alarm going off. Now he tells me his heart is pounding and might come down. It didnt take long and he was packing up. Al gets there Wed. around noon and by 1:30 he catches his first fish. A hog 31lbs 10oz his pb!
Right before dark I hook this hog my second 30lber ever and pb 33lbs!!
And a little later another 33lber
Yep 3 30's in one day. Best day of fishing I ever had. I have to thank my buddy Boyd that has a house down there for making this happen.

Finally got into the 30lb club. Not one oz more or less.

Ended the week with about 50 fish. Good bit of mid 20s. We also caught alot of 1 and 2 pounders. We were fishing a little shallow for my liking. 5to 7 feet of water.

congrats on a good haul where did ya end up getting a campsite ? looks like yougot a waterfront site .We ended getting a spot at the resort campground. Site 110. Are the fish bigger over at 7 points?

Me and Kod arrived Mon. at about 11am. Baited up and Kod says dad lets fish. I wanted to wait. So I get him set up and within a half hr hes reeling in the first fish. The boat traffic was incredible. Some of the boats sound like dragsters roaring up and down the lake. A real shame if you ask me. There should be sound limits. Anyway, it was a steady catch after that. I quit counting after 105 fish around wed. mid day. With left thur. night. Kod put it to me with the biggest at 19 lbs and a couple teens. My biggest was 14lbs. If I was to guess an average it be under 10lbs none the less we had a blast. The weeds were bad too. We put the big game 15lb though torture and it held good.
I also want to thank Mark for the pointers.

Thanks guys!! What about the river forest park. The lady said she has campsites right on the Seneca
