Let me say that we only fished about 7-8 hrs friday and 10hrs sat. Probally one of the most fun sessions I've had in a really long time. Was glad to get back to just catching fish but its time to search out the bigguns.

It will and has been a good time the last 2 years. Although we struggled and only landed 3 fish in 2011 we made up for it in 2012. Its a great time BSing
with all the anglers. Neil, with not enough thanks, works his hair off 
, lol, getting sponsors and prizes together. Mike, August and the rest of them ACA boys try their hardest to put teams in good swims. They have been out working on finding productive swims and will continue to do so until the last minute. Its a river and the fish make up their own mind when it come to biting. We've all fished for them long enough to know that sometime your hot and sometimes your not. -
Zach to make matters worse, you were to his right and we were straight across both catching on Sprinkle baits. LOL
So Andy if ya come down I could use some more bait.

You have to order from Betty's Country Store. I have had no success straight from mfg. Try some of the hot flavors. Hot Plum won the ATC. I have been having success on pina colada method and pineapple baits. It is a oily flavor and a little go a long way. Don't personally like the R&W tuitti fruitti. I have tried the superior flavors but don't like the fact that it takes almost a entire bottle. Never tried the K-1 flavors but have used bait that was done with them and they produced. You might also want to consider buying from Brian @ Master Baitz. Help a new business grow and try something different than the old faithfuls. You just never know you might find a new winning combo. This is just my advice.

Lack of fresh water has some spots fishing real tough. Find the shade enjoy the day. Atleast if the fish aren't biting, the lake scenery should be nice!

She is a fish catching machine. Her and her husband have been to TX and caught some impressive US carp and buffs.

Nice grasser. How did it act on the bank, nice and calm or floppin around?
You can catch them the same as commons with fruitti flavors. A local angler will mash apples into his method when targeting them. try it and see what happens.

I love that part of the country. Honestly size doesn't matter, its all about catching and enjoying the outdoors. Looks like you did both. Congrats sir.

You have no idea how nice the fish really was. This has started out to be a great year for me and a incredible weekend with 2 more goals accomplished. Thanks again Brid and we'll see ya sunday.

Let's get back on topic here guys. To answer your question, it put out a 3 buffs and a few 20+lb commons combined for the 2 days. I could say my thoughts on that but I'll leave it alone and keep kickin yankee butt!

Brid, I tried to fish 1 with ya befor and would do it again, but The Champs have to try and defend their title. If ya need to I'll lend ya some bait!

Fish caught on his bait, just look at the ATC. 3 of the top 4 hauled on Andy's bait, enough said!
