Hell traffic in Austin is 24/7! Atleast through downtown.
-
just going to say it once with local knowledge 7-7. Besides mike need his sleep also. lol
-
sounds like we need to have a anglers vote on this Doc. Either way it doesn't really matter to me, so thats my vote.
-
Being a local 7-7 will be great. Will give you time to set up and be able to look over your swim.
-
Did it beat your PB Z? I guess we'll wait and see. I guess he'll have to post it here as a teaser for the out of towners, so they can see what to look forward too.
-
I'll take a guess and say a Red Bud beauty?
-
A weather forecast will be posted here as soon as its available for the tourny. Probally sunday or monday night. Wouldn't want any one caught off gaurd.

Neil I figured this would be the right spot to post this for all registered teams to read. There are a few local guys that are doing a tagging program to collect data on where, length, weight and if willing what bait these fish are caught. When you do catch a fish please check for a yellow tag up by the dorsal fin and record the tag number, along with all the other data. A few recaptures have happened already and have shown movement and a gain in weight. I will gladly accept all the info to pass along to the guys. A recapture did happen at the WCC event sat which showed a 2lb gain, same length, similar bait but about 1 to 1-1/2 miles further down river from original capture. Getting very restless waiting for the 23rd.

You may want to see the DR. I think your coming down with CRS syndrome!
-
How about sharing the exact method recipe you are planning on using? rofl
I am looking forward in 2 weeks trying to trump the champs!
-
Its about to get ugly in 20 days! Keith T. caught a 2lb common in the fall during the WCC tourny.
-
I can say personally that the Wild Whiskey and Wild Peach Berry both smell awesome! The living room smells terrific!
-
Thanks Rick! Yes Guys it was a joke trying to get you off the serious side for a moment and get a laugh. Zach has had many nice fish from there and more from across the state.
Like was said, won't scare me off, Hell Keith and Brid team up and whoop me all the time, but it does take both them old British farts. LOL

For you newbies and out of towners, Lonestar's fish is not from town.
-
Now you better do your part and get the hound a carp to lick.
-
Do they have to be friends or family? Just getting a soldier out fishing is my point, wounded or not. Showing them a little thanks for what they do or have done.
-
Bob Have a great time with your event, As for wounded warriors at the ATC, why can't we just do a Veterans/Wounded Warriors fish in any time of the year. Sorry but we don't do enough for the Soldiers that protect our FREEDOM!

Fishing for a pod, wearing your underwear, diving 10-12ft of water not fun but those alarms were still kicking. Luckily everything was recovered. This happens when you're ripping up the competition catching too many fish.
-
6-6? What happened to 7-7?
-
Its alot easier to catch out of neighborhood ponds than it is a free flowing pressured river. I'll be wearing my chest waders at the boil cause this chits gettin deep.
-
Ted just glad you have a day job as you would go broke fishing. Hope to put a new meaning to BANK fishing.
-
ha ha, thats the spirit!!
nah its my home water!

This is looking good Neil. Can't wait been out practicing myself. Not very often you get a chance to put a whoopin on the Prez, any other time you would go to jail or get fired.

I don't think I have any other favorites besides LBL.
Lakes good for fish-ins with anough bank space is what I would look for.
Brazos in Waco, as its about half way.
Grapevine, never been up north but from reports it can be good.
Travis, if we can get some rain and find bank access.
Twok, as you never hear much from there and would be nice to see what it hold besides huge Blue Cats.
Any of those lakes half way from DFW and Austin that we can find access.
LBL
LBL
LBL
and did I mention LBL.

As for a 10 day weather prediction depends on where you look . Sunny 70's to partly cloudy mid 60's and 20-60% rain/thunderstorms. We all know the weatherman can't predict squat. I think they step outside and if its wet they decide we are getting rain today.
