  1. Once at a lake about an hour from me in the dark there were several men on a boat with lights all around bow fishing for carp so in the cover of darkness I shot them with boilies out of the sling shot!

Josh my weapon of choice would have to be a throwing stick I can throw alot more alot faster and much higher velocity haha oooooh I bet boilies out of a paint ball gun would sting like a MOTHER F$%&KER LMFAO :blammo:

  2. Zoomie I know the feeling kinda... I lived in florida for a bit and I still have family there. My Grandmother lived next to the hillsburogh river park just south of Zephryhills and she had a nice Koi pond. After the second time she called me over because the local gators found it easy to eat the pretty little fish that cant get away. Now she has a sturdy fence around the Koi pond and is screened in on all sides and top.. And did I mention how good gator on the grill is.... HAHA

  3. lol expensive bird food. The water I was thinking are private ponds owned by friends and family so no worries but ur rite Phone I never thought about that. I also thought of birds and other fish eating them but I was thinking of keeping them in my pond at home till they were to big to be eaten by most birds and other fish.

  4. most all the Koi are awesome looking and there are so many different colors and designs etc etc its mind boggling. Then you have all those also in butterfly. I saw several that were called dragons and the scales and colors are amazing. There is one that I saw it is a BLUE Shusui butterfly just stunning fish but I am scared to even ask how much they sell 4.

Anybody know where the closest place to go for me would be to find some buffs?? I will make it down to Tex one of these days but till I can make that trip maybe someplace closer?? ~8

  7. Rougfisher..... You know what else likes to swim in the depths of the columbia river dont you??? I have a picture of a little example. This one was 10.5 FEET long and lord only knows what it weighed we hooked it just below Bonneville dam and finaly landed it 6 miles down river.post-5524-0-57225800-1296627882.jpg

  8. I agree and practice C&R as well unless I intend to eat what I catch. But I have yet to eat a carp I have heard that if they come from clean water they are good. Because of the way they eat they are more likely to contain contaminants from their home waters so they say but idk. Now there are several bodies of water that are way overpopulated with carp so what do we do about that??? I surely dont want to kill something that Im not going to eat. I would transplant them into another body of water but in some places that will get you in more trouble than tossing them on the bank to die and I am NOT going to do that :o What are we suposed to do??? Im just going to continue C&R and enjoy the fish that we all enjoy and I am going to try get others hooked on the fish we love :swimminfish:

Welcome to CAG Brendan. It is great to see the younger generation enjoying what carp fishing has to offer. That 2 tone is awesome btw nice catch. Im sure that we all look forward to seeing more from you.

  9. This is a picture of the first and only mirror I have landed as of now. This little one came out of the seneca river near Phoenix NY. I now live only hours away from the infamous Blackfoot reservoir in Idaho so I plan on adding new pictures to this link come summer.
