  1. I purchased a Saxon 3.5 from another CAG member last year and have been waiting and saving to purchase a reel that should work well and last. Last week I managed to put together enough to get one. I got a Shimano XT-A LC and it's now spooled up and on the rod. Now I just have to get my arse to the bank and put it to work. Thanks Dr.A it looks great with the Saxon.

  2. corn is corn if you ask me if prepared properly it wont make a difference I dont think. The Walmart here also sells it $8 for a 50lb bag free shipping lol there has to be some place near you that sells it. I'm with Willem on using all the sites to order from all depends what I'm after but every one of them has gotten some of my money. Good luck to you

  3. There is one place that comes to my mind that I think would be a AWESOME place. I believe that there are many guys and gals from CAG that would enjoy fishing this venue. There is enough open bank space for hundreds of anglers. Camping is ok and the fish always look amazing. The only major issue is the distance from ANYWHERE and without years of planning I doubt many people would be able to make this venue work for an event but it would be a epic one. Did I mention that it is full of mirrors? If you haven't figured it out yet I am talking about the one and only Blackfoot Reservoir!

If there is enough interest in doing something on this venue I am willing to do what I can to help out.

  4. Just go down to your swims and gather up some stones so they will match the bottom drill them and epoxy in some swivels that way your matching their environment and not adding lead or throwing away money.
