yes Mike you right Lake Manassas is Closed :( sorry .......& possum thanks for posting the map, Lake Orange looks really nice place & looks like GEFILTA FISHER allready fished in Lake Orange :)

  4. welcome Moon - Seems you are already to get into some serious trouble getting involved with all of these troublemakers. DC fish-in will be here before you know it. Thats always a good time for us locals to meet up and maybe get lucky at catching a fish or two.

thank you so much.... :) its really a great place for carp anglers, all of CAG senior & experienced mimbers are very respectful for me sir .... i lov to join upcoming CAG Events around DC & meet up great anglers... it's really a pleasure for me...i already explore the Fishing Events Calendar but find nothing around DC

  5. A Golden Mahseer is something I absolutely have to catch before I leave this earth... it's been on my list of things to do before I die for about 20 years now! :) A simply stunning fish!

i can imagine sir you have a very big knowledge about fishing :) yes you right mahseer is stunning fish, it's not only looks good it's good in fight and really really good in taste aswell :knifefork:

is in himalayan water nepal, india, pakistan ....... i never been to india and nepal

if you have that strong wish to catch Mahseer, im pretty sure one day you catch one, yes you are

last time when i went to multan around eleven years ago i took some really nice lures & spoons for mahseer fishing but no one took me to mahseer fishing ..... :( so we fish around multan for Rohu & Catla Carp.... for big mahseer fishing... have to go up North  or at that place wher Tawi & Chenab met mahseer come to Chenab's warm water for lill bit for food and run back again to Tawi's cool water & im sure you have knowledge about mahseer alot more than me, but if you ever go for mahseer fishing go in winter time coz the real color of mahseer appear in winter....how cool the temperature is that much color full mahseer is.... and and if you catch a SILVER mahseer in a bright sunny day...u will c how pretty that fish looks in your hand :)

  8. Welcome Moon... I'm not a million miles from you... Round Hill, VA to be exact. The Shenandoah is only 7 miles from my house and I still haven't fished it for carp! ;)

Thank you so much sir, Round Hill is only 20 miles from me and i saw you're big mirror carps pictures on this forum, i know you are a Big Angler and CAG Director that's way you don't like to fish in Shenandoah's small waters :) but i like Shenandoah dont no y but there is a v nice swim by Rt 522 / Riverton Rd by the boat ramp it's small but good swim & this time of the year water is low... the access is lill hard by the railway bridge where two fellows met, i always go for fishing on weekdays so lill quiet.... this year i have a plan to go that park where shenandoah & potomac met dont no it's good place or not but ill try, two days ago i was @ national harbor once you go down from the wilson bridge on right hand side... what a magnetic water...dont no anybody fish for carp over there or not but looks good 2me & i like that Rossevelt Island by GW pkwy but that place is really crowded but next to the bridge really really nice place...& this year i have my eye on Roaches Run dont no how good that place for carp fishing and of course i try Hains Point & Tidal Basin this year.... but the problem is most of the places around me << no overnight Fishing allowed :( :( :( ......anyways it's Great Pleasure to meet you sir.

    Hello!

My name is Robbie, and im from south east Michigan. Not new to fishing, but new to carping. Looking to hone my skills, and of course get into some new tackle. Nice to see a group of people that seem to just enjoy fishing and not just trying to fill a boat with fish! Hopefully i can get to know a few people and learn some tricks. Please bear with me because i am also learning to type, and post. You would think after 40 years i would know how to do this! But really just getting started.

welcome robbie, nice to have you here, im new aswell on this forum.....Great place for carp Anglers, i hope v gonna learn lot about Modern Carp Fishing.......Good Luck
