After looking at all your post Zach sure whish I had been Carp fishing a few years ago I lived In Jonestown for a few years before I moved to AZ but only trout fished. Are you fishing the lakes on the base ? You can PM the answe if you want just curious I will not be going back to PA the snow was cool the first couple years but I have had enough of it

I had IRS problem one time and worked out a payment plan with them it was fairly easy and they do not charge interest. I know a few people that got scared and went out and took out a high interest loan to pay them. and then realized they could have worked out a payment plan with no interest or additional Penalties

I am closing the post it is starting to get out of hand
Guys to be honest I am really starting to get confused the keep net in question is the same material as the mesh laundry bags that I am being told to use. the outside diameter of the keep net is larger then the laundry bag unless your the green guy from the sweet corn can. The net is every bit of 8 foot long. maybe the photo I posted was a bad photo to put up but the reason for the photo was not to show off any fish if you remember correctly the gentleman in the photo has a look on his face like what the Hell that is because he had just gotten splashed in the face by the famous see you later tail wave. I was trying to get a picture of him getting splashed but I missed it and only got the what the hell look I have limited photos of the net but I do have one that shows the bag is not full of fish and the size if anyone would like to see it. I did not post that photo or others because I was not trying to show off fish I was trying to show something funny that happened that gave us all a good laugh. It appears many did not see the expression on his face. I do not have others because I was not able to take them I was standing in 3 1/2 feet of feet of water taking the fish out of the net Please feel free to PM me any future hate mail I will clear my in-box Thanks again

Hit the Lake with Carl, Stew and Mac today We had a great day. really need to work on getting more Photos. We did not take many fish pictures.everyone caught fish today All around the same size We ended up with alot of fish in the keep net

Another one 13lbs 4 oz the only one we scaled the rest around this same size sure wish I was not 6 foot 5 and 340lbs makes the fish look small

Nice fish Brid I have had a few that Jumped around like that luckily I do not normally fish alone so I have a camera man and the few times I have been alone nothing Picture worthy anyway

Contact them and do a nice polite letter and you never know maybe you can get them to do a positive piece on catch and release carp fishing and what a wonderful sport fish this is

Yes I beleive it is the DCNR if you call them you can get them mailed to you. If they do not have any let me know sometimes they run out I beleive I have some packed away I would be happy to mail them to you

an 8 foot gar is record size. does Lady Bird lake have grass Carp if so maybe that is what they think they are seeing and in reality it is a huge gar

That is Huge I would be inclined to believe it is going to be a large Alligator gar TX has some biggens and most likely will be found to be closer to 7 to 8 feet many people do not understand length on animals once they get large. back in FL I went to get a 18 foot Alligator out of a small pond called in by a police officer once I arrived and captured him he was just barely 8 feet
