Well guys thats my recipe... take it as it is...lol, well see how it works. Yes there in my freezer... They had a great consistency and rolled very nicely... The ingridients i used are listed above Tom, I dont htink its quite HNV... It has some nutritional value atleast... They look decent for my first boilies though. Thanks guys, il let u no how they turn out in my swim.
-
Thanks guys, I hope they work... LOL... Dry Ingridients: 1 cup of ground horse pellets, and 1 cup of soy flour.... a pinch of salt.... some Anise Seed, few tsp. Wet Ingridients: 3 eggs with the shells, 3 tsp of veggie oil, 4 capfuls of pineapple flavoring, and sum red food coloring that didnt turn out as red as i wanted to. Kind of simple, but it was only my first true attempt at making legit boilies. Cant wait to see if i do any good on them... It will deffinately be very rewarding if they catch well for me. Made up the recipe all on nmy own also!

Here are some pics of the boilis i made today... Nothing special... pratically my first time.... Tell me your opinions on them, but dont beat me up to bad. LOL.... I tried my best... they look decent in my eyes... Cant wait to test them out!
First pic is after they were boiled... Second was before they were boiled... Mixed it up by accident!

Water temp was probably in the low 40's. Measured it the week before and that's what it was. Air temp was somewhere between -50 and -60 degrees (well, maybe with the wind chill). Air temp was actually 35-45 degrees during the day. The brisk wind did make it uncomfortable, but hell, this is Texas. It's either freezing or a furnace. No in-between.
Haha cool man... Good job... I was just wondering the temps because i have been out twice this yr already and havent even had a beep... I cant seem to figure out carp fihsing in the cold.. but il get there! Nice fish guys, Nate.

I fish a shallow lake,on the sunny side, That's side hits first. I don't start fishing till 12.30 or 1.00, this give the water time to warm up. the bait is K-1 Nature Sweet Flavor Corn.
Hey franklin nice job on that winter common man! How shallow is this lake... Whatsthe deepest section? I have been out winter and havent even gotten a beep.... Im guessing when the sunss out strong the carp will move into the shallows beause it warms up faster!?!? I mightg have to try that method....

Very NICE Koi fish! Today I went to pet store to buy 50 lbs of hard corn for carp fishing so I stopped by to look at goldfish and koi. I found out that 4 inch Koi is $7.98! Expensive because Koi can live over 20 years! Your fish might be over 400 dollars!
I no Koi are very expensive... yes this koi was probably worth quite a bit of coin i must say...... And thanks man... Deffinately an awesome cactch for me!
