Charlie, it looks like that spool on your left hand rod is empty
-
Great going dude, good to see you got on some fish
-
Keith, I'm pretty sure its posted in one of the threads in Carp Events.
-
Captain my Captain, that's one stunner of a mirra.
That's pretty good Matt, you threw in a little Walt Whitman there, I like it
-
Horace that fish just doesn't know how honored it is to be in the hands of the Ol' Captain.
Congrats to both of you
-
I here the fishing is getting tough due to the fish really getting into spawning..
Good news for Tal & Scotty.
-
All it would take is one BIG fish (like a mid 40) for either Scott, Andy Phinn or Dennis to take the whole thing, it ain't quiet over yet.
-
Tal's got a stake in the 250k now with a 43 lb'er , wahoo now it's really getting exciting.
-
Just heard Scotty is the first one to go over the 130 - 4 fish mark, he has something like 130.5 now.
-
They are running power, water, sewer & phone lines up to that side, maybe they're putting in a topless bar right there.
-
Andy Phinn needs one more fish over 33 lb's and he's at the 130 mark.
-
Nice pictures Scoot, interesting scale patern on the buff on the mat.

Truthfully....after the first day at the 360, with the 31 and the mirror....I could of blanked the rest of the trip and had a good time. Nice meeting many of you.....Zack, Tommy, Mark, Scott, Karl, Keith, Wayne, Brian, Colin and many others. Hope to make it back next year. Now its back to Indiana where a 15 is a awesome catch and 9 or 10 20lbers a year is good angling. One more shot.......
Great stuff Charlie!! nice pics, it was awesome meeting you guys, looking forward to next time sounds like Indy fishing is a little like NC

I too have been around Lenny a few times, back perhaps in the late 70's at Waveney Valley & Walthamstow and the now old CAA.
I was suprised to hear he had passed away, he was now in his late 60's early 70's?
Great shame indeed.

Horace you are a true diamond in the rough, I too thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning fishing with You, Pete, Mark & Tommy.
Once again you put a smile on my face after reading yet another classically enjoyable Horace the Ol Captain style post.
Looking forward to sharing the banks again with you one fine day,
who knows maybe on the Hooch in beautiful downtown Lithia Springs.
Until then, take care my friend,
All the best,
Colin.

I believe Andy Phinn of Resistance Tackle is on the leader board right now with two fish of 34 & 29. WTG Andy

Oh O..You guys could end up at the local Walmart buying up the ugly sticks and zebco's, that's how Phone ended up using that stuff you know.

Thats great news. Colin won't have to go far to draw water.
funny you should say that Tom, I was thinking exactly the same thing.
-
Looks to me like the hotel is on the south side of the lake,
and on the right side of the I 35 bridge, like right next to it, is that right?

How fast do carp swim

I remember the wildies back in the uk, would swim so fast they'd make the line audibly zip through the water, pretty cool & impressive.
