  2. I try and think what I could do differently to get fish to the mat. Bait choice, fishing range long or short distance, rigs especially, if I get a bleep or few bleeps no hook up, then I know the fish somehow got around my hook. Maybe gap between hook and hair to short or long, not enough weight, an most importantly hook sharpness! try pre-baiting day/ days prior to fishing, if you haven't already. Also hookbait choice, maize, nuts, boillie, plastic, etc.. thisa can be critical aswell. I don't know you limit of rods u can fish, but in Indiana it's 3, I start with a pop-up on 1 rod, something criticaly balanced on the 2nd rod, and for the 3rd strictly bottom bait then I go from there. hope it helps, and like brooksy said that weather change is important for the fish aswell.

  3. There is a guy here in Indy that exclusively fishes carp on the fly he will be able to point u in the right directions, carpstalker forum name on Indianacarptalk. I've seen some nice fish he's caught at White River, Fall Creek, Sugar Creek, etc...
