Goin to try get another new pb in the mornin

So I broke my PB last night with a LONG 28.6 common, that put up one hell of a fight!

So, I'm not working in Grand Rapids, I'm going to Woodhaven MI, and it looks like there is a river close by and also Lake Erie, but not 100% sure tho, anyone live close by.

Going to work in Michigan from May 23 thru June the 8th, Grand Rapids I believe. Anyone know a place to fish in Grand Rapids, Carp Fishing.

Well got home around 12:00 a.m. this morning get on the computer check my work schedule and have to work double shift today, open/close, damn! can't wait to sleep in tomorrow!

Got my spod rod in the mail today, very light, sleek and slim blank, feel like id could fish with it as a long range rod. Gonna be a bad ass whacker blaster rod!

Just ordered me a new spod rod, Sonik sks black rod 4.5lbTC w/50mm butt ring, more hooklingn Fox Cortetex 20lb gravely brown, more rig rings, and rig tubing. And I spooled up the spod reel with fresh 300 yrd. 30lb Powere Pro, ready for spring!

Decided to go wild, fishing at fall creek beautiful day, had a few bleeps so far but no take. the water is very cold. im throwin 3 different baits salted sweet corn in pva stick, WCB 4season method, and dynaminte amino pllets fished method style.

43lb12oz common carp was caught at the ATC this yr. Insane grongrats to the winners and Kenneth Ryan Keaton representing IN 3rd place, congrats!

Team Indiana, I'm on the roster, just got done paying my registration. CAG Midwest Regional! Can't wait, last yr. was a blast, but have to put some 20's on the mat this yr.

Had an awesome time last night and today, caught around 10commons, and like 6channel cats. My first carp of 2014 was caught roughly 9:45a.m. solid 2lber, lol, size doesn't always matters, the carp is what matters, even the lil guys are fun for me. Pictures will come later, pretty tired gonna gets some sleep.

Still messing with my carp gear, rigs tied up, rods freshly re tied, 2 inline method leads, and 1 lead clip rig, now bout to go thru the rig book. Ready to catch fish tomorrow!
