Well seems my Bank Manager (The Mrs ) says maybe $ 200 can be arranged on my next Birthday so i woz wrong sorry Bank Manager , always wanted nice proper Float Rod , i am using a Daiwa Carp D for Alll my fishing at the Moment
only other rods i have are couple Wallmart specials . so nice Float Rod for me next Birthday Yeah !!! . which i really should have seeing as Float fishing is what i do Most .
I Like the look of the chub outkast twin tip , If was to go for a 11'6 Raven IM6RW were in Canada can buy one ? not much in the way of fishing tackle shops down this way.

Got out for a couple hours this morning the waggler went down 4 time's but only one fish made it to the Net....

I Feel your pain about the storm the Mrs day off today so i get the car , SO up at 5 am packing gear in the car and Boom !!! and Boom !! and light show in the sky oh well so much for fishing today...
Still you got a nice session in with some cool fish in the net Lovely Jumbly. Eww er Motorhead T shirt , i baught lemmy a drink in a pub In Hammersmith London 1984 had a bit of chat top bloke are lemmy. and im of to down town Windsor Now to Local record store the new Hawkwind Lp in !!! then im gonna nip Wallys Bait and tackle to heard he got some maggots In !!! .
No Fishing untill Friday for me now , stupid weather grr grumble grumble grr.

good stuff, kinda lost me at the "taking of down stream at speed damn Carp been and run of with it
" loldont know if you use a lighter hooklink then mainline but if you dont, try it.....you may find that if your link breaks you still get your float back everytime.

Yeah i do use lighter hooklink and thinking about it now i am not shore what really happend as it did break bellow the hook link swivel when i reeled it in it was the hook link swivel that was
rapped around the log so how My float was attched to fish ( I dont know) ? but it was couse it went flying of down stream.

the ground bait sounds far more appetizing than the chick peas
but eh i am not a carp and you appear to be e reknown chef to the carp

Had two nice early Mornings down at My Lovely Waggler spot this Weekend and seeing as i had run out of Monster Maze
and there was no tins of Kidney beans to be found in the Larder i took the tin of Chick Pea's instead and headed on down to the water.
Baited the swim up with some my home made ground bait of Bread, Cornflakes, Dog Biscuit , and Hemp -Seed and few Pults of Maze put two Chick Peas and a Small Plastic Pop up on the hair
Cast out My trusty Ole Waggler and Wait and see what happens....................
The Result of two 4 Hour Mornings session's with the Ole Chick Pea and Waggler was ........
First of the Weekend ..
No# 2 of the weekend caught during massive downpour which only lasted about 5 min's but just happen to catch this here Kippa
Ooops hang on that's not the timer .... ha ha
No# 3 of the Weekend took of like torpedo it did..........................
4th of the Weekend First of Sunday Morning, ............
No# 5 of the weekend , lean mean fighting machine. small ones seem to take of faster and longer then the Big' un's.

Last one of the Weekend and the Biggest ,
Also had a huge Run on another fish after this one after playing it for a couple Min's came to a sudden stop nooo snagged again then all of a sudden i see my Ole favorite little Waggler
taking of down stream at speed damn Carp been and run of with it
hhaa but me i am still snagged up after much huffing and puffing i finally reeled in what was left of my Rig and a huge Logoh well at least i wont be snagging on that no More.
So all in all a nice little Weekends Early Morning Angling , and Well done the Chick Pea's !!!

Haha no don't listen to the Wurzels but being from Somerset i do like a nice Glass of Scrumpy ( Somerset Cider ) Hawkwind and Ozric Tenticals is more to my listening taste.
and yep he was a Gurt big Carp .

Love the storytelling and the beautiful picture of the sunrise, not to mention that amazing fish. Were you surprised a 30lbr came out of your small water swim? I know I would be if I landed a 30 out of mine.
No not really i have already had a 27 and a 26 , 5 over 20 already this year out of there and my step son had a 27 out there in his first ever fishing Trip !!!
there a couple Dutch guys over here working for one the Power Company's who fish this Water Euro style they had a 35 out of here ( he showed me the Photos) so no real surprise
there is a lot of Carp in this water would not surprise me if there was a 40 lurking about in there somewhere.
And the Creek is bigger than looks in the Photos.

Well it's 5 am at the waterside there is a chill in the air and mist is rising from the water and the Birds are singing there song and
the water is still take a deep breath and breathe in that peace ahhh lovely.
Time to get fishing so out goes the lump of Cukk Bomb A shortly followed by a few pults of Cow Corn this is followed by the Yellow Waggler
with hook bait of two bits of Tutti Frutti Monster Maze . Now it's sit and wait time and to Meditate on that little yellow Waggler Half hour goes by and all is at peace with the world , BUT there are those tell tell signs Magic circles and bubbles moving in the water heading oh so slowly towards that little Yellow stick standing proud in the water.
And YES soon they arrive the Bubbles and the Magic Circles all around that little yellow stick oh it's oh so tense come on come on take the bait...... an hour go's bye still that yellow stick does not move but the circles and the bubbles are moving all around ahhhh but still that little yellow stick just sits in the water not Moving.
Its Time for plan B so the little yellow stick comes up out of the water shortly followed by the Monster Maze and Hook , time for the MAGIC BEAN , so one of the Monster maze is removed and replaced with a little Magic Red Bean . so out goes that Little yellow stick once more to stand proudly in the water.
And still the magic circles and bubbles move around ever so slowly eww but then the Little Yellow stick begins to move ever so slightly eww take a deep breath
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa then it's OFF Moving .................. and...... Yes were In aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........... what a adrenalin rush here we go come ON !!!. That's what its all about. !!!

New P.B. Bang on 30 Lbs longest Carp i have ever seen was almost 4 Feet long and Shoulders like Arnold Schwarzenegger

Nice One Lovely Jumbly sounds like awesome day. and Yep Carp fishing back home in the Ole Country not like it use to be very much big Businesses having to join Clubs or pay day tickets to fish waters which have fish that have been caught many times over some being caught up to maybe twice a day or more, some the little lakes and club waters are very expensive to.
My Brother back home has said this year will be his last year fishing club waters and is giving up Carp fishing and going back to fishing the Rivers for what ever comes up, back to fishing the way we use to as kids he's had enough of over pressured fish and big fat lumps with no fight which he said is like reeling a Tire the Magic is gone. and there is just to many rude and not very nice people in the Sport over there now.
We really are so lucky here to have such good and varied Carp waters to Fish. and next year i am hopping my Big Brother is going come over for a few weeks so we can go Carp fishing Canadian Style !!!
opps sorry about the Rant about back Home but Angling back home really is in a very sorry state they are also having big Otter Problems slowly killing of fish stocks i was Skyping with my Brother today who loves his fishing and is sad and fairly angry how fishing is going back there. Time to Move to Canada i told him . anyways Rant over. sorry.
Damn good fish you got there looks like you had a blast.

Ahhh the Pole all the Rage back home for Match Fishing never tried it myself but my Brother Back home goes pole Match fishing all the time and bags a lot of fish.
seen on other forums that are few Guys around Ontario in to there Match fishing who love fishing on the Pole . dont think it would be my cup of tea but would love a go at it
hoping to go back home for a couple weeks in August might see if can get out with my brother do a bit on the Pole.

The Creek i do most my Fishing in has a little dock platform put into the water each summer at the End of May it was put up last week so Now it's time for those 5 am Waggler session's
on the said platform. well went for my First session Sunday Morning got two really good runs on what felt like Cracking fish BUT lost both ,( oh guess cant win them all) but then at 7. 30 ( dont often see them that early) Some folks turned up with there Canoe and made hell of a job getting in the thing and spooked up my well fed Swim so that was the end of that i stayed to 8 30 but saw no more action.
Being one who doesn't give up easy its back to My early Morning Waggler Spot this Morning up at 4 am down at the Little Dock at 5 Bait up the area with my home made Bait bombs of Cornflakes , Bread. Hemp- Seed and Curry Powder and Pults of Corn. within min's the waggler of and Moving wow that thing took of like a rocket so i let it do its thing before pulling him back a bit eww he dont want to come in
after some toing and throwing he's ready for the net i reckon i reach down pick my net and then NOOOOOOOOOOO the line goes loose he gone just like that quick as a flash nooooo thats 3 in a row now
am i loosing my fishing MoJo ?
Oh well bait up cast out again and once again that Waggler on the move eww eww this feels like a real lump dont loose it dont loose it i said to myself whole time im playing it Then Stop NOTHING MOVING tight
he found the bottom or some snag he wasn't budging for know one i tried every thing i could think of but was stuck solid wasnt going to move. hmmm so set my Rod down loosen of the Line and sat and waited and waited and waited......... suddenly the reel is screaming again he's of on the move YES i pick up the Rod feel a the pull of the Fish and then NOOOOOOOOOOO nothing gone again 4 In a Row aaaaaaaa.
Oh well its called Fishing right not Catching keep at it keep at it. and Glad i did because my Little Waggler went on the Move three more times and this time made it to my Net, Yeah !!! For Me !!!
First of the Morning .............

No# 3 This one actually jumped out the water a foot in the Air not just once but twice awesome. I Love fishing of that little Canoe Dock perfect early mornings with nice Waggler danging in the Water
might even get up early again tomorrow have another go.

Ewwww some nice Mirrors , i am yet to Catch a North American Mirror dont think there are any around this neck fo the woods , Maybe when i go on this summer camping trip hopefully bank one.
