I think it should be held on 2 consecutive weekends- first group-first weekend, second group-second weekend. Probably too much work/time involved in setting that up though.

Is it too early to sign up to be on Phil Davies 3 man team for next CCC?!

Long's Donuts are out of this world, and about a 5 minute drive from my hotel- very dangerous! Whenever I've been, the line has been out the door, but they do get to you in good time.

I'm in for Hubbard's Lake, after making a pit stop at Longs for yeast doughnuts first!
-
Your best bet is to look on Youtube- Fox and Korda have loads of instructional videos featuring all kinds of rigs.
-
Any word on Hubbard Lake rules?
-
Thanks Jim- looking forward to a great few days in Indy. Are there any rules that we should be aware of for Hubbard Lake- no leadcore, no braid, barbless hooks etc
-
Can banksticks be used on all 3 venues? Looks like a concrete walkway by the White River so is a pod needed or is there grass/dirt to push in a bankstick?
-
I'll take 2 of the 4x- thanks Jim!
-
Great- count Dan Ramir and me in for this one Jim

Couple of questions-
1. Are small tents okay to use in bivvy town or is it strictly bivvies?
2. Are there any bathrooms along the river?
-
Hey Bill, can you give the hotel info?
-
Agree 100% with Brian Fang X all the way!

Sounds like floater fishing might be just what the doctor ordered! You can use a controller float to get the bait out there, and then dog biscuits, popups or even Nash Zig Bugs as hookbait. There are plenty of guides to floater fishing on Youtube. A Zig Rig might have helped but would be impracticle because of the 15" depth I think

Great job!

Please add me to the list- wouldn't miss it!

The guy to my left in the bottom pic may be responsible for the art work- he lives under that bridge!

I was able to get out for a few hours fishing yesterday morning at a local spot which would offer plenty of shelter from the thunderstorm forecast. My recent fishing trips have been up and down, so I decided to narrow down my bait choices instead of constantly chopping and changing between Mainline, Enterprise, K1, CC Moore etc.
World Classic Baits 4 Season corn and popups were selected. Two rods went out and within 10 minutes I had my first run which resulted in a very nicely colored 12lb carp- first fish to the corn! Before I could cast it back out, I was into another fish- this time a 16lber. Several more mid doubles were landed before I hooked the biggest of the day- 23lbs 6ozs. At this point, I would have been happy to sit back and relax until it was time to pack up, but the fish were having none of that! Fish of 21lb 1oz and 20lb 9oz completed a trio of twenties. I ended the day with 10 fish and very tired arms!

Good job! Maybe I should have joined you at New Buffalo instead if driving up to Holland on Saturday- slow bite for me, unless you count the catfish!

Sorry Frank, got a PM almost straight away, handle is sold- my fault for not updating- sorry about that
-
You've got the right idea Brid! I'd be happy to fish with Chris Yates at Redmire too

If anyone is looking to buy a landing net handle- I have one for sale. It's a Gardner Specialist Extending handle which extends from 67" to 118". It's made from a carbon composite and will set you back $80 at Wacker Baits. Mine is in excellent condition- only used twice and I'm looking for $50. I'll throw in a net float. Makes sense to sell it to someone who I don't have to ship it to!
-
The tough part is finding a kid who will actualy get up in the morning!
-
Hey Andy, I won't be able to make the event so please remove my name from the list. I feel like I'm juggling too many balls so something had to give! I'll be watching the updates throughout the weekend- GO TEAM ILLINOIS!
Thanks, Darren
