Quick question - should I be concerned about Gators on lake fork if I'm camping on the bank for 5 nights? I leave Wednesday afternoon and plan to do a long session in a remote spot I've picked out. Any pointers to ensure my safety would be gratefully received. Thanks.

i heard the gators are a problem here and there but dont here about them much. lady bird lake has some chunks

baitrunners are great BUT when its time to cast a heavy lead with some method. the drag sometimes isn't locked all the way quick drag or regular spool easy to get a nasty cut from braid when this happens. i own shimano and daiwa baitrunners
i fished with a friend that had qd's he let me use them and i had to buy some i bought some crosscast (small window) which are great for the money. went to windcast z's(bigger window) love them so much i know have Daiwa Basia which the drag window is out of this world they are a DREAM!!!
that being said i still own both but i use my QD's 95% of the time bait casters 3% and baitrunnners 2%
