Heading out to brave the cold wind for the first small carps of the year..

I wish i had the problem of "weeding out mirrors"..

Been keeping this off facebook for the most part.. But I've been organizing this years New England Yankee Challenge, which is a Carp Anglers Group event. A new venue and a total of 14 people are set to attend the event which is tomorrow. Should be a good time.

Things are looking very good to head to up to the land of giants tomorrow night into saturday.. should be interesting to say the least.. pb's for everyone is not out of the question.. stay tuned..

River is flooding.. time for some setback fishing..

tying up rigs.. need to fish chod/helicopter rigs at this swim this weekend.. ugh!

Steelhead trip planned for turkey weekend.. can't wait!

First session on the river today.. last year Mike Dennis and I were fishing and catching in the river almost in early February. Shows how cold it's been this spring..

Back at it from the Golden Bowl swim.. yesterday Mike Dennis and I had five fish between us up to 24.02.. today looks even more promising..

Took my first vacation time off of the year and heading down to the Golden Bowl for some pigs!The swim is under a foot of water but that doesn't stop us..

After an epic session last night, Mike Dennis and I are heading down to the CT CAG fish-in!

Rivers flooded time for some grassers on freelined bread and on the surface fly fishing!
