  1. Yup bigger lead = usually a Better bolt effect, sometimes it's just the fish though if they are lethargic like in early spring late fall, I find the real heavies around where i live don't bolt off that fast period, they just take the line out slow, while the smaller fish scream away. But I get my fair share of twitch bites aswell, aslong as your hooking up I wouldn't worry about it mate, could be out of your control :D

  2. 30+ is still a rare carp for the harbour, it's not a every week thing, I banked 1 over thirty in the harbour between sept and dec and put in hundreds of hours of rod time I've personally only seen 2 more over thirty come out while I was fishing aswell during that time :)

  3. Catch my season 30+

Hope to try and break my pb

Find a productive spot I havnt fished before

    Have fun with friends :D

Learn new stuff, and help others learn somthing new aswell.

Pretty much same everyseason minus catching a mirror this time :D \o/

  4. Few rod pods extend far enough to have the first eye inside the alarm, while being stable, even my fox doesn't just get a gripper butt, I've never had any problems wit the rouge but I don't over tighten the screws, no need to. My big pit never hits the middle bar either so don't know about that. Pretty sure the mission is about the same lenth, only thing is better is materials and anti twist flattened vertical bars. Ya the mission is cheaper unless you want the buzz bars win it 12$ per also check uk forums and reviews about those Nash H-guns pods Tristan I see a lot of people

Cracking the plastic clamps on them, to hard material with no give, plus the winters we have? Might be even worse in the cold... Why I went with fox, 2 pennies, goodluck dudes tbh you'll be fine with either rouge or mission. Cheerz

  5. Eh we fish alot of cement piers here in Hamilton, he needs a pod. You can get one like Tristan wychwood rouge for around 80$ at fishing world or bills baits, I got one it works fine, if you wanna spend more money you can get somthing from nwc or Carpkit but those will be 100+ I reccomend a wychwood to start. mines a couple years old and still works fine, plus it has buzz bars and a bag with it.
