When your fishing small water with little action, try looking for signs of fish, bubbles breaches etc, somtimes they will be suspended or cruising just under the surface soaking up the sun if they can, these fish are usually hard to catch, as it gets colder they will be harder to catch period, try using smaller amounts of bait, I found myself that little maggots work great for carp that would otherwise not bite on corn/dough (just me tho) and sometimes dude that's just fishing, if you can learn somthing from your blanks it's not a total scratch. Watch for signs of fish stalk them if you can and present different bait and sizes, you'll peice it together, i believe you can catch Carp anytime of the year, just gotta work harder for it, goodluck don't give up

Good job guys, were still hitting em up here in Canada to, fish till you get frozen out!!! Then go find a warm water discharge and fish that! 1 more day of fishing is one less day of winter.

Hey all!
Well december is here, With me being very busy @ work, and windows in the weather fading as the cold/rain/snow sets in, Me and dino had a little free morning time so we decided to jump at the chance to wet a line and maybe try and catch a snow carp!(7am-12pm sesh) The weather called for snow, but ended up being rain, boooo was looking forward to snow fishing. Anyways the day wasn't to crazy with 3 smaller fish being landed, but hey its december in canada and were just happy to be out and trying our luck. Always a great day when your in the company of friends bankside!

Better then ripoff world, err fishing world for sure! Plus theyre cheaper and don't have some sort of snobby ass people who think they're better then you working there. Ps I hate fishing world. Good heads up for ppl who don't know mark, cheers!

Bigger carp = bigger water
You will have to hit lake Ontario, fairport just under Pickering(Frenchmans bay) along swans marina or beachpoint or any of the little parks around frenhmans can produce 40+lb carp toronto islands aswell is a huge mecca for giant Carp, if your srs about big carp you will need to travel to bigger water goodluck! If you need specifics PM me I've fished around toronto waters for about 4 years before moving back to Hamilton.
