  5. They will be back in there within a year IMO. THe lake is connected to Schneider creek, which is connected to the grand river, just a matter of time, nature or man carp will return! I wonder if there were any big lunks in there, if so what a shame... Would be just as easy to relocate them bAck into the grand river.. Futile efforts.. carp are here to stay embrace em' :)

also wrote a short email, thx for the info Lorne

    Cheers

  6. hey guys

Well..Dino txt'd me around 7am telling me he had the day off and was gonna go fishing, Being that i have a cold and i blanked the previous 2 days in a row, and with the weather the way it was outside, i convinced myself that i was going to sleep in and take it easy..and thats what i did.. intill another txt came around 9:30am with a pic of a sweet mirror and dino saying the fish are biting like crazy @ p4 (In my 8+ years of targeting carp on and off i've yet to catch a mirror) :( So like a carrot infront of a donkey i was lured down to p4 with dreams of mirrors jumping into my net lol.. glad i went! i was there for 3 hours landed 2 fish one being part of a awesome screaming double header that saw dino shatter his PB and put two fish on the mat within seconds of each other. Had a blast man that was a real trip with those two screamers at once, wont soon forget that bro lol good times, see ya out there soon dino, few pics from my phone

    cheers

  10. Pretty sure I can do some morning time dino, wind spose to be 15km so no issue there. Maybe lasalle? Or around Hamilton side if anyone else wants to join. Took 2 fish from lasalle with mark today one a chunky 20ish, I'll add a pic to the other post when I get home, had to avenge yesterdays blank whaha

    Lemme know dog

    Peace

  11. Lol mark you look like a axe murderer in that pic, I think seeing you successful on the float has inspired me to try it more often, just to change things up. Two nice fish and we managed to duck out of the wind most of the time, see ya guys soon again :)

  12. Hello Carp People of the interwebs!

First off i would like to thank mark(hairwig) for showing me this swim that i didnt know about :yourock: Endless source of local carp tips, tricks and spots. Aswell as dino and lorne always a pleasure gents, thx for making it out!

So anyways as mark was saying we all made it out for a little sunday fishin, the fish wern't exactly jumping into our nets, but in the company of these guys im happy just to enjoy the day..anyways.. I decided to revisit the swim today for a quick afternoon session 12-4pm, hoping to ride some chum from the day before. The winds were 45kmph and knocking me and my gear around, so i bait up and cast out and less then 5mins later i get a crazy screaming run, after a 10min fight that took me under the hiada then back to me then over under by the tugboats(crazy fight on this fish), i managed to get his headup and with the help of my new freind roger we banked him!(pics below).thanks for being there buddy.(I didnt have my net assembled or out yet lol) anyways, roger landed a few nice carps aswell to make it a nice little outing.

Thx again to all the came out on sunday

    Cheers
