They don't care, and if you mentioned to them your a carp angler... They will care even less, petition been up for years, Ive signed and did the letter then many times, dead end. I'm happy with my 1 rod anyway, less tackle. Good for trying though, you never know!

Muddler is a common carp with a irregular scale pattern on part of its body, sometimes they swirl or grow on a differant angle, then the others.

Wtg Lorne! That little park is paying off in full, seems they are loving the grits, if it keeps up you might have to make a double order to the states next time pal! Cheers

I love float fishing for carp, its devastatingly effective and the South korean style of floats are second to none. I have yet to use a pole or whip but all in due time! Those are some great pics jeongyonghwa. I was wondering if you know a place near hamilton or even on the internet that sells south korean style floats of anykind. I've looked on ebay and all over i cant any, I know one place in missisauga, but the selection is limited ATM. Thx again for the epic post

Looser drag and rig tubing to protect the fish, braid only for my big pits.

My hats off to ya for taking the extra step to protect your catches Alex, but I've taken Carp in the 40's, wild Canadian ones, it doesn't happen often and I've always managed to release them unharmed without a Carp couch, my overkill statement was regarding most north American carping where the big guys are few and far between cause of the mass wild waters we fish, and for 99% of the time that thing is overkill and I wouldn't be bothered carrying it around and setting it up, specially when i gotta walk a ways to half the swims i fish, just me and my 2 pennies but none the less respect for taking the xtra step of protection

Awesome fish, well done!

Looks like a goldfish hybrid to me, we get a decent amount of them around here in Ontario, the hybrids don't have barbels but it's hard to see in the pic if this one does or not.

Heres a trick to keep carp from sliding off of flat mats...hold em down with your hands.

I got the same net and the block broke where the pegs goes in, big crack. I would also like to know where to find a new one.
