They can swim and will have life vests.
They like fishing but have yet to get a carp. Every time my son wants to reel a carp in its over 20# and I tell him I have to handle it so it would be nice to finally get them some.

I'm looking for a new net that needs to be strong and have long telescopic handle.
anyone one have experience with the cabelas custom salmon 29x34 or the ranger flat bottom 30x34? Any other suggestions?( is there any robust euro nets with 36in heads)
im looking for strength, length, fish friendless, and cost around 100$ and only minimally care amount weight and storage.

Gamakatsu heavy duty live bait hook size 4 or 6 with field corn and sweet corn respectively.

Nice fish. I took my boys out a couple times this weekend and only managed a nice white sucker and half a dozen yellow perch.

Next official fishin. Now I only have time for short sessions and litchfield is a couple hours away at least which would leave me with little to no time to fish. (Vs the lake 15mins from my house)

I will be back in September for my brothers wedding and hopefully hit up a fish in.
Life has been very busy (multiple jobs, 4th kid due in a couple weeks ect.)and fishing has suffered however both of my boys are showing increasing interest so...
There is this lake 20mins from my house that I fished a couple times last year with big fish potential if I can consistently fish/bait it.
P.s. I still have that slotted spoon and mismatch rod/reels.

Maumee River was my old stomping ground in med school.
I also fished out of Walburg park next to the zoo in a spot between the yatch club and Clark island. (Check out a Google map of it)
Also try promenade park at the outlet of swan creek from the maumee which is essentially on the other side of the river from international park.

Hook pulls I feel are more about the anglers technique, rod action, and line (braid vs mono). I have also significantly improved my fishing more with sharpening my hooks then the pattern or the specific rig.
