are the dates for sure (Aug. 22&23)? Need to let other people know so they don't schedule any other plans. Thanks

Thanks for the reply Larry

why cant we fish to the west of the Peoria street bridge, its been open to fishing ever since you started the tournament and now its not? whats up with that? and did you know that the south side of the river by the dam (river street) is under construction so that limits more area that you fish.JMHO

Thanks Frank, appreciate the response

how about august 15th , I know some of us would rather have a Saturday tourney than sun, plus it would probably bring in a couple more anglers. JMHO

I'm taking a small trip to the Two Rivers area, would like some input on where to fish in the west river. I'm going to be there from August 1 thru 3rd. This is my first time in the area fishing.
Thanks , Dave Marceau

Hi Russell, thanks for hosting this fun event. Loran, Sawyer, and I had a great time, didn't catch but one carp, but caught a lot of catfish to bring home and enjoy. Thanks again and cant wait for the next one

I will be there plus two others that I am bringing, is it possible that I fish with the other 2 being that it is my brother and his 7yr old son? we both keep an eye on him when fishing so we can help him out.
thanks ,Dave Marceau

Diawa Mad dragons are a good rod at low cost ,Bass Pro has them at $59.95

would love to fish this, but already have a previous engagement. Good luck to all who fish and may many BIG CARP bless your nets!!!!

I used the PP when I first started carp fishing and had nothing but trouble, if it wasn't breaking off on fish, I would have problems with wind knots while casting. I got rid of that crap ASAP!! went to using suffix 832 braid and haven't had any trouble since, it might cost a little more but it's worth it JMO. If I use any kind of mono it's Nash NXT D-CAM mono that you can get from BCT, that stuff doesn't break for nothing!! I've pulled limbs out of the swim with this, not small ones either, some were 6 inches in diameter and 4 ft long!!

if you flavored your bait you don't have to put the flavor in the water, a bit of a waste if you ask me
-
Hi Frank, count Loran and Dave Marceau in for both tournaments
-
Those are some beautiful captures, and a nice looking venue.

You guys have a beautiful day for the tourney, good luck to everyone participating. May the big girls find your hookbait !!!!!!

Chris, try adding a little bit of vodka , it'll keep the anise oil in a liquid state
