Fish ford lake park. one of the most relaxed, and easy venues a guy could ask for. no snags and carp as far as the eye can see! We have had 50+ fish days between two anglers before in that area.

We have to talk to drew and Nik and get them over to saline and into some mirrors next week! hopefully they can make there way out there.

Il be out next week as well, prolly were ever Austin is.

I saw that event on the calendar. I'll definitely plan to attend.
Awesome, you will learn a ton! Will be great to meet you.

Also as Austin stated, Panko is one of the easiest packbaits to start out with because it packs so easily, and basically no matter what you do to it, it will break down in the water. If I were you, I would come to our next fish-in (Belle isle?) and try to learn from us directly. This will be much more help to you than anything we could ever try to tell you. Good luck!

Watch Brian's (accordbw) videos on packbait. They will help you out a lot, and get you started in the right direction.

Living in your area, you are spoiled ! Sooooo many carping opportunities right outside your door! Ford and Bellville lakes are some of the most carp populated lakes around. You should have no problem getting into them in no time flat! Look forward to meeting you on the bank soon.

Had a fantastic time competing in this event, just glad I was able to do my best! Fished very hard this May, now I just want to sit back and relax on some easy venues again! Can not wait until next year! Great job to Adam and Steve, and all the other participants!

How do you know if males are in post spawn?
I can not speak for all venues, but at least on the sagnasty I have noticed that the males get the crap kicked out of them during the spawn. All the fish pre-spawn are in good condition, but right after the spawn I noticed that all the males we caught had all kinds of injuries they had accumulated during the spawn. Everything from ripped up tails, missing scales, and all kinds of red marks on their body.

Knew that fish had a good chance! Great job Austin!

Amazing fish John, Fantastic accomplishment on the Record!

Most of the fish we cought at Sagnasty were males that were post-spawn.
Short Trip Success!
