So were these fish caught on Saxon rods ?...the picture above shows three rods on a pod..only ONE is a Saxon....just asking ...if all fish shown with SaxonTackle.com in the corner of the picture were caught on that single rod ???
Big congrats to your catches and new PB's.
Not speaking for anyone else as i don't know who's pod that was... but i myself use a set of three matching Saxon 3.00 TC so every fish i catch is in fact on Saxon rods... & Thanks, was definitely a very enjoyable time

Okay, curiosity got the better of me, had to go track down Scotts fish lol http://rockland.yuku.com/reply/236

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Scott Osmond have a mid-high 30 through the ice out of MA at some point?

Hi August me and my dad would like to take you up on that offer. It would be great to see you again and hang out for a while.
-
If it is ever broken, my money would be on one of the great lakes. With such a gigantic body of water, you know there are some true "freaks of nature" so to speak that very well could shatter that record. As for time of year, definitely spring or fall as those are the two times were the fish will reach peak weight.

I just can not get over the sheer beauty of that location, what an awesome place to fish! Man I would kill for some scenery like that on those long sessions lol ! As always Brian, great video!
-
That is a freakin awesome video Brian! Really nice job man, seriously good stuff!

Ban?
I think Rick is talking about closing the lake to competitors two weeks before the ATC rather than the Sunday prior to the event. I for one wold not like to see this, as it puts people who come from other areas of the country at a disadvantage in regards to geting any pre-fishing time in. There is no way any of us could get any time on the lake before the event if it required us to miss two weeks work before the ATC even started.
