  1. I agree with all of the above. I strongly prefer braid but no question about it braid is less abrasion resistant in rocks. May I add it does not twist up at times like mono does either.

I found that video posted earlier quite interesting, I didn't know it was quite that dramatic of a difference.

No doubt about it. I use braid, but no question about it mono has more abrasion resistance.

  2. Headed out for a really late session (got there around 6-6:30) and ended up with three. The biggest was the one my dad got that was somewere in the mid teens. The were really short and fat today, and you can not tell due to the poor quality night pics my ipod takes, but they had their dark golden winter colors and with it was their winter weight.

(sorry for the poor quality guys, i really need to take something other than my ipod to take pics with from now on)

  3. Awsome job bill! I think that 18 is the biggest fish pulled out of there since roy's 22. The largest me, brendan, and austin have got in weeks out of there has been 16 tops.

  4. Headed out to ford lake today but got a really late start due to the fact that their was a marathan in Detriot today and they had half the city blocked off. We got there at around 2pm and had a nice 18lber on the bank within ten min of the cast. we ended up with 12 fish with one 19lber, 2-3 18lb, 2-3 17lb, and the rest mid to low teens. It felt good to finally get into some nicer fish after the last few weeks of small guy fish.

Big Boy of the day at 19lb 10oz
