So with the end of summer fast approching and start of school looming overhead I have tried to plan a few last minute trips to try and get as much fishing in as possible. Today my dad and i decided to try a spot that me and Austin have been fishing recently which has produced a mirror on every trip. The spot did not disapoint and produced yet again with another nice mirror. I ended up with 10 fish and i think my dad matched that. The only bad thing about the trip today was the average size ( under 10lbs ), but with a nice mirror being caught the trip was well worth it.

Austin, Brenden, and I headed down to ford lake today. The morning was very slow with only a few small fish caught. Today was not Austins day with him having multiple break offs in trees, half runs, and losing a nice fish feet from the net. Both brenden and Austin had to leave around 1:30 or so. I decided to change swims shortly after they left and started catching right away. The fish today seemed to not be very confident in feeding as we were geting many half runs. After a few hours of hauling by myself my dad came out after work to enjoy some action. shortly after he arived I cought a good sized fish for this lake at a little over 18lbs (this is a numbers lake not a size lake). My dads third fish or so took a strong run and we could tell by the fisht it was a bigger fish. the fish ended up being 19lb 10oz and my dads new PB. All in all not a bad day for me (sorry Austin ) . I think I ended up with about 25 fish, my dad got 5, Brenden got 4, and austin got 1 or 2.
