  1. I find that if you are fishing smaller bodies of water, fishing at night can be much more affective than fishing during the day throughout the hotter months of summer. I also find that if it is at all possible to get onto larger bodies of water it can also be more affective, as it takes longer to heat up the larger deeper bodies of water than the smaller ones, IE while most of my inland lake swims are like bath water, some of my great lake swims are still in the mid to high 60's and have egg filled females. Hope this helped, and Good Luck

  2. great session you guys had, can't wait until i can do some fishin, they got me working 7 days a week 12 hours a day except right now i'm only working 8 hr a day mon, wed, fri for a couple weeks, might be able to make saline.tight lines

    Good luck Bill!

  3. A blowback rig is used to aid the hook in turning into the fishes mouth there are two types, a ring blowback which uses a small ring. And a silicon blowback, which is what you see below. The arrow points to the peice of small silicon tubeing im refering to.

  4. I wish Indiana had numbers of big fish, CONGRATS !!!! landed some stunning lookin fish, that 29+ is pristine!

Thanks Marshall, that swim has some real stunners for sure. The 29 has to be one of the most perfect fish I have landed in a long time.

  5. Nice fish, great report, and congrats on big lumps of gold! Mind if we ask what you caught them on?

Not at all, they fell to critically balanced maize, fished on a blowback rig, with an in-line style bolt set up, fished over a bed of particles.
